Mass Effect: Andromeda - Reveal Trailer Breakdown

  The breakdown of the information presented in the trailer, that was released today at E3. 

  Here is the trailer: 

  The song at the beginning is "Ghost Riders in the Sky" by Johnny Cash 

  0:13 - some big luminescent creature in the back

  

  0:20 - the word ARK is visible on the right of the screen. It appears on every screen change.

  

  0:24 - Large creature in the background (looks like an overgrown armadillo)

  

  0:31 - Large flying creature can be seen around the mountain

  

  0:43 - there's a small golden globe at the bottom of the shot. It is reminiscent of the small globe seen floating in the protagonist's hand in this bit of concept art: Link

  

  0:45 - The ship the N7 trooper is presumably on makes a FTL trip (the destination is marked FTL Destination)

  

  1:12 - Beetles!

  

  1:13 - Mako is called M-40. In the original trilogy it was M-35. There was also M-44 Hammerhead.

  

  1:27 - Two figures - one definitely Krogan, and the other a female human or Asari - can be seen running alongside the N7 trooper.  If the female is Asari, these two may be the characters Cora and Drack mentioned in the leaked market research.

  

  

  1:28 - The N7 trooper's sheilds get damaged

  

  1.30 - the N7 guy activates his Omni-blade before jumping.  It may be part of a heavy melee move, or it may indicate that the blade can be activated at will by the player. The enemies can be seen, but are hard to identify.  They do have backwards-bending legs like a lot of the alien races in the ME universe. You can also see the light of the N7 Troopers rocket-jump system

  I think in the last part, it's actually a heavy melee similiar to the turian soldier's in mass effect 3 multiplayer.
