Far Cry Primal is either a game that's been released or is very close to release, and I've noticed we seem to have a number of Far Cry fans here. I'm not personally a fan, but I am intrigued about Primal and I'll be buying it, well as soon as I have the money to.
So I wanted to know, whether your interested in Far Cry Primal, and if so whether you'll be building in it, or possibly writing Roleplay Profiles, posting Art or anything else the GC can do (Remember, that includes Roleplaying, Character Building, Art, Lore and Videos). And while we're here, might as well use this is the hub for discussing CB Elements of the game.
And remember, keep spoilers out, any comments including them will be deleted.

Personally my first playthrough's probably going to be the quick, finish it to finish it kind of playthrough, something to give me a quick look at the game, and also to see what's viable as a build. Automatically I'll probably make a simple Beastmaster Build, focusing almost completely on Animals, and sometime after that probably a Ranged Assassin or something but I'm not sure.
I'll definitely be trying to take some nice Screenshots for the game, and possibly record any Boss Fights (I'll turn subtitles off so none of the conversations can be ruined for people) just as a bit of fun.

From what I´ve seen, I´ll get it when I have the money, and when its a bit cheaper. Though it does seem quite decent for building, same with most Far Cry games. I love the shift from guns and grenades to bows and clubs

I read one review and it sounds pretty cool, what I was expecting in terms of gameplay. Screenshots would be cool, but unfortunately you have to have XBL gold to take them :P. Maybe my computer can run this, but I doubt it.

Wait really? You need to have XBL gold (in other words pay money) just to take screenshots...That's just ridiculous. If you ever want I could try and grab a couple for you, whenever I do end up getting it, I know I'll be starting a gallery if I end up enjoying it as much as I think I will.
Anyway, what part of the Gameplay seems like it'll be your favorite? Personally I'm liking the idea of taming animals more than just about anything else.

Yeah, that's how most games tend to work now... I am liking the new style, but how they haven't seemed to abandon their usual gameplay to compensate, grenades are primitive but still in the game (Kind of) and you will mainly fight from long range, so it is still the same kind of combat.
I think it'll be excellent for building, It looks like the skill system is pretty massive but it could turn out to only have like 4 useful skills. But hey, even if it isn't at least we should have some Roleplay potential, and definitely some nice Screenshots and Videos.
As I asked Tim, what gameplay elements do you like most?

I haven´t played Far Cry before, but this game seems quite interesting. Though to be honest, it´s not that interesting for me to buy it on release. I´ll probably buy it once the prices go down.
It certainly looks like better version of Skyrim, more realistic. We´ll see. Maybe something will convince me to buy.

What type of playthrough do you think you'd go with Karves, assuming you buy the game (I mean, I'm saying I will, but I said that about Hearts of Stone and I didn't get that for nearly a year ) the game does seem to have at least a couple different fighting styles (More if you go into the more... focused ones.)
I hadn't actually considered that it's kind of like Skyrim, but I suppose your right, I don't know how realistic it will be though, we still are some kind of Mystic Animal Master.

Yeah, I was pretty disappointed when I figured that out. I only know because I was going to get some cool ones for my Just Cause 3 thing I wrote, and when I tried to take one it didn't work. Thanks for the offer, too.
Well the animal taming thing should be pretty trippy, knowing Far Cry lol. I'm not really sure if that'll be my favorite part though. In Far Cry 3 I used stealth a fair amount, and it'll probably be the same here. The bows in FC games are pretty cool too, and how the gameplay flows. My favorite moment was probably jumping off of the roof of a house to get a mid-air (bow) headshot on a huge enemy :D. I'm thinking that I'll be able to do that here too, so that will probably be my favorite.
