Yeah I'm not a real fan of Survival Mods, not sure why because the theory works and I do love Survival Games where that's the main focus, but I feel like they just tend to get a bit overwhelming at times. It breaks my immersion in the game because I have to worry about all those bars and orbs and whatnot. But yeah I'd kind of forgotten that quest but it was sorta cool to have something else to keep track of while your going through the dungeon, really a lot of Shivering Isles does some cool experimental stuff that we don't see as much of in the Main Game or KoTN.
Yeah, it would be cool to have more quests where what you do affects your state of mind and body, other than effects of combat or whatnot. The closest we have I think is Survival Mode in Skyrim, which has started messing with my game. I had to delete twice already - one game got stuck with the blue tinge from being too cold and tired; it just wouldn’t go away. And another game got stuck in some sort of weird god mode, which I’m not sure is attributable to Survival Mode, to be fair, or another mod or glitch. But I have no idea what else would cause it.
Urgh, that sounds tough Ilani. Though in a small way I really hope that Survival Mode is giving you that God Mode glitch because that sounds kinda hilarious. It's the ultimate form of 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger'. :P
