Tamriel Vault - 2handed weapons and block perks

Is it viable to put perk points into block tree(right hand side) when using a 2 handed weapon build,would this help with defence or am i just wasting points if not using a shield?

I don't use Block with Two-Handed, though I know Henson enjoys Block with Two-Handed weapons.

You'll be able to reach block cap and over 100 points of damage per power bash with some two-handers. So I'd say it's definately not wasting perks.

Thankyou,im still new to the game and starting to feel my way around and thought here would be a good place to ask some established veterans of the game.
