  some people have different opinions than me, but I think im one of the only people that listens to rap as one of their main choices on the site so i dont wanna get jumped...

  Gangsta paradise b*tches, everyone should know and love that song, it's a real classic. Eminem is pretty okay as well. The others don't really feel good to me. As if their heart isn't really into it.

  I don't hate rap itself, but almost all of those 'gangstas' who rap about drugs, whores and money, should just take an overdose, the world would be better of.

  When it comes to rap i mainly listen to ERB,

  Dan bull,

  And Opgezwolle. It's Dutch but try to listen to it anyway

  That's what I agree with -- if I can tell there is true heart and passion in someone's music, I respect it. I may not like it but I respect it.

  Coldplay isn't that bad, a bit slow and soft perhaps but not bad at all. Those others you guys love, well, I don't love them that much. Just not my thing.

  Lmao XD I love all of the ones Neel has mentioned, mainly because I grew up listening to music that was 'before my time'. My ears are tuned to all of that :)

  Well, coincidentally I grew up with all that music he mentioned as well... Hearing it day in, and day out, because my parents always listen the same old songs... 1 year... 2 years... 5 years... 15 years, you get it? Now I just hate, but really hate that music. They just shoved it into my head and I don't want it.

  I agree with you Emer rap is not music it is rhyming about sex drugs and money. Music is supposed to mean somthing or make you feel something. Rappers claim it is poetry but poetry is to make the reader feel what the author is feeling or understand a message the author is trying to get out just because they rhym doesn't mean they're making poetry.
