How do you boost smithing after patch 1.5? There are a lot of ways to go about this, but personally I go to a dwarven ruin, take all the dwarven junk, smelt it into ingots, and smith dwarven bows. What about you?

Gather/buy lots of iron ore, go through the halted steam camp, get the transmute spell, use to get gold ingots, make rings and other jewelry. But making the dwarven bows is also effective.

Just go to whiterun, buy all the ore/bars you can buy and use to make things then smith them.

I think using them on the Skyforge (i think that's what it's called) gives you more exp.

-SPOILER- if you complete the lost of the ages-quest u will get an crown that will allows u to use two stones! Choose the lovers stone and then the warrior stone, that makes it 35% easier + if you are married, sleep and you will get a Lovers Comfort wich makes it 15% easier!! 35+15=50%!! awesome! Then just make dwarven bows!
