Before Helgen - Dragonborns side of the story

  • I had finally reached Skyrim. My breath was heavy and I was drenched in sweat. Who knew how hard it was to travel here? "Better find some shelter" I mumbled to myself. After a few minutes of searching, I found a rock hangover with a few bedrolls all made up sitting next to warm, crackling fire. In a highlighted corner, there was a chest with a variety of potions outlining it. "This isn't right" I thought as I was walking over to the chest. I collected up the potions and took the loot from the chest. The next thing I knew I felt my stomach rumble. "Food" I thought. I looked over to the fire from the bedroll I was sitting on to see a cooking pot, which had a few raw rabbit legs and some cooked beef. So I ate the beef and cooked the legs with some salt until I heard a twig snap. "Never should of come here!" cried a nord bandit. He was an easy kill which was followed after a few of his "friends" The next morning I woke up to a man lying next me, obviously trying to stay warm. Skyrim had a cold wind that I couldn't really describe. It was sort of a "spiritual" wind, like all the previous nords of skyrim were watching. I assassinated the man while he was still sleeping. Turned out he was a legionnaire who was planning an attack on ulfric stormcloak and his men. The note read: "Legate, We are planning on an attack on Ulfric Stormcloak and his men. Do not kill him, but instead capture him. Bring a carriage with you and head to Helgen. If anyone runs into the scene, take them with you. Don't worry, the others know what they're doing" Who was Ulfric Stormcloak? What did he do? I decided I wasn't gonna wait around and find out. I got up and stepped over the Dead Legate and let my eyes look around the camp one last time. The other bedrolls had been used, so there must of been more of the legionnaires sleeping here. The fire had been put out too. I stepped out onto the cobble road and looked to my left. There was a huge bay horse with a rather important person riding him. There were men as well, wearing a blue outfit with steel swords in their hands. Was this Ulfric? I strode up to them and said "Excuse me sir, but are you Ulfric?" They all laughed with hints of mead in their breath. "Sir? I'm Jarl of Windhelm, young woman. I take it you haven't been here for long. I like the way you look, you'd be great as a stormcloak. Go up to wind helm and talk to me then about the joining the rebellion. Perhaps we could discuss it then. Run along now." So I did. I ran to what way I thought could be Windhelm until I saw another horse and a few other men. "GUARDS! TAKE HER!" Screamed a woman. "What? But I simply walked past you!" I implied. Then I remembered about the note. "Your trying to find Ulfric, aren't you?" I questioned. I regret saying that now. I knew too much, so now I would have to be executed at Helgen. I was hauled into the back of the carriage and I was knocked out by a hunky nord man. That's all I remember. After that I remember waking up to Ralof. This is my story... Thanks for reading! Soon I will bring out Sapphires story if this one is any good. Thanks again!
