Facetta Part 3

  • Here's part 3

    19th Last Seed 4E 201

I woke up with a dry throat and craving some venison; water and venison for breakfast. I walked downstairs and said morning to Hulda, she seemed cheery. I decided I would craft some potions, resist magic, I messed up first time and made a weird concotion involving resist magic, poison damage and invisbility, who on Nirn would want that I don't know. I succeed the second time and left the alchemists several hours later with 10 potions of resist magic. I sold the left overs and some mammoth tusks from last night to that Belethor fellow, seems like a bit of a pervet, it would be a shame if someone stole his weeks earnings... I also enchanted some boots I found with a silencing effect, I had sufficient skill to take some leather off them and they then fit me.

I tanned some hide and whipped up a few leather strips and made a few capes, I sold them to Adrianne for a pretty penny. I left Whiterun and strolled along the road towards the meadery, the weather was pleasant. During my journey towards Valthiem Keep I came across a dead bandit and his horse, no note or anything, I am still bemused. I took the horse and killed a sabre cat atop of it. I approached the keep and summoned Flare for an extended period of time thanks to my training. We had little trouble with the bandits, Flare passed a couple of times however I had enough magicka to re-summon her several times. What seemed to be the chief of the bandits was interesting, he had a large sword, I stuck my blade inside his stomach before he had a chance to pull it out. I laughed.

I searched the camp for chests and with my superior skill of picking locks they were no problem, I came across a nice amount of enchanted loot and gold. They left books lying around, obviously they had not read them, morons.

It was only early so I decided to stroll on through the greenery, it's far more pleasant than the bland tundra near Whiterun. I came across a troll, Flare made quick work of it, they burn like tinder. I came across a fort, I scouted the area to see if it was inhabited; mages... Fuck, looks like it was handy I made those resist magic potions. I chugged down a few potions as I knocked my arrow, I made quick work of the first mage patrolling the outside. The one atop of the arch provided some problem as he saw me, Flare was summoned and already on the case, she made short work him.

There was one left who was oblivious to my presence. I decided to shoot him in the back of the knee then the neck, I walked over to him as I yanked the arrow out of his neck and smiled as I saw the blood flow out... I pushed my finger inside the gaping wound as he squirmed in agony, I then wiped the blood on my finger onto my leg, I don't know why.

I entered to see what was inside and two mages suddenly let bolts of lightening and frost upon me, I dodged and conjured Flare as I hid behind her I managed to swiftly whip out another potion of resist magic and had enough time to summon my blade which I then let Flare coat in fire as I hacked away at the mage attempting to cast ice at me, she went down easy enough. When I turned around Flare wasn't there and I was have shock bolts flying at me, I got hit several times but managed to summon up Flare and the both of us managed to take the shock mage down, it was not pleasant. As I was searching the place I came across a lovely book that taught me how to summon a bow from Aetherius. Finally! No more shitty wooden and steel weapons.

I began wandering back to Whiterun and ended up wandering up the wrong path and came across this Nord in need of someone killing a necormancer, sounds interesting, we made his way through the crypt filled of, what was it Draugr? Something like that, old Nords basically, we had little problem through the crypt, there was some nice loot which I took, he had a go at me but then I reminded I'm helping him out and that shut him up; prick! We entered what he told me was the final room, I saw the necromancer and quickly took him out with a swift shot from my magical bow. There was some small loot but nothing special, he said he would stay there and I could come and get him anytime I needed. Maybe he could be the new Uthgerd... I left him.

My journey back to Whiterun was uneventful, it did however rain which slowed down the deer so I took down a few and nabbed their hides and lovely venison. The rain dampened my mood.

I returned to Whiterun and spent a few hours disenchanting what I had acquired, I was about to leave and then I remembered I had a bounty to collect, I saw Proventus and on my way down the Jarl said I had done him a great favour and gave me some Elven armour... Does that prick not get it...

I returned to the inn and read another book around the fire, I had some rabbit for dinner, no wine tonight, I think I was having too much. The book was about how Mundus and the Void came to be, it was interesting. I feel like I have gained a lot from today.

    Good Night
