Facetta's Beginning Part 1

  • Hey guys, this is just what I did over the past couple of days. Thought this would be the right place to put it up. This has all been pre-written and has finished now. I will post it up day by day.

    17th Last Seed 4E 201

So there I was, stuck in a carriage being hauled along by the Imperials. Destined for the chopping block. They read out our names and mine wasn't called, there was no Facetta according to them. The list man asked the Imperial Captain what to do, she said to the block, marvelous, he seemed apologetic however. Soon enough we were lined up for the chopping block, one Stormcloak seemed to want to get it over and done with as soon as possible. That bicth of a Captain bent him over and let the headsman chop his head off with no remorse from either of them. She said I was next, what a bastard. She bent me over, foot on my back and my head ready to be sliced off by some huge Redguard.

Then out of nowhere pops this Dragon, this is going to be interesting. One of the Stormcloaks, Ralof, shouts to me to get over with him, what the hell do I do, make my own way out or go with him, he seems to have unbound his hands so surely he can do the same to me. Him and Ulfric Stormcloak, their leader, have a debate and I think to hell with these guys and charge up the tower where there is another Stormcloak trying to move some debris. The Dragon then smashes through the wall and kills that poor bastard, I dodge out the way and here Ralof telling me to jump through the window. I do.

I jump down through the inn and then see the list man, I think to hell with you and charge off the only way there is, I narrowly escape getting hit by that bugger of a Dragon. I bolt my way through the burnt down houses and under this arch way where there is an Imperial archer atop, nice bow buddy, not even from the plains of Aethrius.

There seems as if there is no way out and then Ralof pops up, he tells me to follow him, what choice do I have. As I am just about to pass through the doors I here the list man shout to me and tells me to follow him, he showed signs of sympathy, he's cute I suppose, and he looks better equipped. With him it is.

I get inside and he introduces himself, Hadvar is his name. He tells me to search around and get some equipment, I acquire some mediocre Light Imperial Armour and Boots. Sadly there are no spell tomes lying around so I grab an Iron Sword, fan-fucking-tastic. We run through the place with only a few Stormcloaks in the way and trying to kill us, I let my Familiar, which for some reason is a wolf, take the brute of the damage along with Hadvar as I hack away at their backs. We nab some potions and some food along the way, and some Alto Wine. Boy will I need it after this experience.

We come across a torture room and the Torturer in their is a foolish old bastard. When Hadvar and his Assistant turn their backs I slit his through and let him drown to death in his blood, his fault, he shouldn't have been so closed minded. I pick a few lock find some gold and grab a few books. Who doesn't love a good read!

We come across more Stormcloaks and they have bows. At last something that I can have some fun with. Spiders next, hideous things but I out an arrow in each of them and let my familiar chow down on them. I take down a bear with one arrow and a slash of that shitty sword, and my wolf likes to help of course.

We finally get out and see the Dragon fly away. Hadvar tells me to go to Riverwood and that we should split up, not a chance! I find a sack filled with food, gems, rings and some gold and nab it all. We come across these large stones which Hadvar explains to me will magically help me learn certain skills faster, I pick the one that will enhance my magical abilities. I come across a bandit and insert an arrow into his head and them conjure up a familiar, but noooo, Hadvar comes along and slashes him brutally. Fine by me as long as I get the goodies, some gold.

We get to Riverwood after killing some wolves and a deer. Have a chat to Hadvar's Uncle, Alvor, and find out that I should head to Whiterun and ask the Jarl for aid, I believe a Jarl is like the ruler of a certain town and area. I come across this Elf and he wants me to piss of a Nord, why not. I give this lass he likes a letter saying it's from this Nord and bam! He gives me gold and will do things for me, I thought Elves were meant to be clever! I order the fool to chop some wood as I sit down and take a nice swig of Alto Wine. A few hours later and I'm nice and tipsy and the stupid old bastard is still chopping wood, Faendal or something he's called, thick as a pile of horse shit but that works fine for me.

I take all the chopped wood off him and sell it to the chap who runs te Mill, Hod, seems like a nice enough fellow, especially when he has arms as big as my waist! As I listen to Faendal ramble on I find out that he can train me in Archery, however he wants gold for it... I figure that if I can get him to chop wood for me, surely I can get him to give me my money back. It seems that that worked very nicely, I feel my skills with a bow honing and I then leave the poor sucker a tired old mule and penniless. I craft up some arrows with the remaining chopped wood and some iron ingots I, umm, got given from Alvor. I sell off all the crap I got during the process of running from that Dragon and get some lovely Septims.

I trundle over to Whiterun which isn't to far and do a bit of Elk killing on the way to get some lovely Venison for dinner tonight. I am no longer tipsy. As I see Whiterun in the distance I come across these chappies fighting a giant. I knock my arrow into my quiver and let it sink into the bastard's shoulder leaving him unable to attack without being in severe discomfort. I watch it drop to the floor, bleeding out. The archer approaches me and tells me I handle myself well, Aela she introduced herself as. She tells me I should join them... Fools, heavily armoured using steel... About that, not really my mug of ale.

I enter Whiterun but have to persuade a guard to let me in, not much trouble there. I see this Reguard having some trouble with his wife I eavesdrop on their conversation and it seems he needs some help finding a old family sword... Seems like there's something in this for me. I find out it's in this camp not far from Whiterun, I'll make my way there soon. I pop into see this Jarl and am hastily approached by this grumpy bitch of a Dunmer. Fuck them if they're going to act like this. I talk to the Wizard and he sells me a few books that will allow me to hone my magical skills. A sword from the plains of Aetherius, now we're talking, and a nice Flame Atronach, boy this will help a lot instead of that shitty familiar... Sorry bud.

I pop into the inn and come across this rather agressive woman, she challenges me to a fist fight, no spells no weapons she says... This can't go well. Somehow I manage to destroy her, not idea but I did, this is highly interesting. She asks if she can follow me, I agree and plan on using her as a meat shield when acquiring the Redguard's sword, Amren of something was his name. I pick up a bounty letter from the Inn Keeper, Hulda, and seeing as it's near enough to the camp where the sword is located I decide I may as well pop in there.

I leave Whiterun with a new arsenal of spells, well only two more, and with a ugly looking lass known as Uthgerd, her name is almost as hideous as her. As I trundle off to the camp some bandits pop up, great. I look around for Uthgerd but she is nowhere to be seen and when I turn around I see an arrow fly past me. I quickly conjure up that Flame Atronach and whip out my bow. We seem to work seemingly well together and take down the bandits in a few shots of my bow and her fireballs, ironic spell for a female ehh. The Uthgerd turns up... Bitch.

Looting done as I come across a midly difficult chest to unlock after not picking many locks in a while. I open it then out of nowhere come three more bandits, fuck. Uthgerd charges in and gives me enough time to get out my Flame Atronach, she shall now be known as Flare, and my sword from the magical realm. We make short work of them, well I ran away as they got pelted by Flare. Once they are dealt with I search around for Uthgerd, I see her laying in the floor the a sword through her leg and a slash on her neck, so much for being a great warrior. I finish of looting the place and come across a book for my collection.

I head off to the camp which is slightly north of this bandit hideout. As I approach the camp I spend a few minutes observing their routines. I first hit the bastard chopping wood right in the back of the neck his friends look stunned and I kill another one with an arrow to the chest. The remaining two seem to jog their way towards my general direction looking rather confused, I snigger, hit another one in the knee impairing his movement and for the last one decide to conjure up Flare and my sword. This last bandit charges straight at Flare completley unaware of me and I slash at her back multiple times, she drops onto her knees and then Flare slings a fireball into her knocking her back as her last living moment before being slammed into wall.

I enter the inside of the camp and spot another one of those bastards mining, arrow to the neck and then I let him bleed to death as I search him for a key to the door, I decide to pick it none the less. Three more bandits in what seems to be this final room, I scour the place and see oil on the floor, I look up and see something that looks explosive, well two of them, I shoot them both down and watch the floor light up, two of them burn to death as they are running around on fire trying to find me. However one remains and he is quickly tracking me down, I bring Flare and my sword and and we simultaneously slash and burn him to death. Poor fucker. I search around the place and come across this sword for Amren and a few other goodies for myself and ooh more books and a new spell. Transmute, something to do with iron, silver and gold... Yeah... Fun.

I leave the place feeling pretty proud and make my way west towards, what was it, Silent Moons Camp or something. I see several of the bandits chasing some crabs, one of them dies, I have to refrain from laughing to alert them of my position, however a huge grin appears of my face as I hail a few arrows onto the remaining two, the drop without the need for Flare. However I hear more of them which have yet to see me, I hide behind and rock and get Flare to distract them as I insert arrows into their vital organs. They all go down easy enough apart from the mage who decides I should insert and arrow into his hands to stop him from casting bolts of shock onto me. I walk up to him as he tries to get a dagger from his side and then watch his face as my sword appears from nothing into my hand. I see piss run down the side of his leg and decide to cut open his intestignes and strangle him with them, I once had a dream where a Jester did that to me... I laughed and wept at the same time as thoughts of being home with my family came into my mind... I miss them...

I searched the outside area for loot and came across gems, gold and a nice weapon. The sun is setting.

I enter the building and hear voices, I look round a corner and see a bandit, he sees me, I have enough time to get an arrow into him and to get Flare out along with my sword. He goes down soon enough but then there is another one charging in on me, well Flare not me, we make quick work of him but I take a few hits, mostly blocked but none the less hits. I see a chest which I loot and when I turn around there is a bandit smiling at me. She attacks, I dodge and watch her get blasted by fireballs courtesy of Flare, I can't help but laugh as she burns to death.

I come across another door which I make short work of with a few picks and there are goodies every where, potions, food and gold. I make my way up a ladder that leads outside and come across a chest, more gold... Yay... Maybe. It's dark. I re-enter using the ladder and go back to where the bedrolls where located, next to a fire, I sit down and began to right this whilst eating and enjoying a generous serving of Alto Wine. I need some water.

    Good Night
