I wouldn't be so quick to assume that. Sure, I had the best time, but I also exploited a very cheap and OP shout. Also, the Field Test portion was only half of the requirement; for all I know, you could have made a better case for being host than I did in your PM to Twisted.

I don't know I'd assume yours is pretty similar to mine, we Character Building Folk stick togther through thick or thin, oh yeah good luck by the way. And as for 'abusing' MoF well it might not be remarkably unique but it's effectove and don't forget both you and Caeser had a better plan for Alduin then me, Dragonspan isn't that great of one.

Yeah you've got to consider the average time in the UK (tl be fair that's all I know Twisted could be anywhere but on his page it says UK so ill go with that) right now is 5 hours ahead of you and 11 hours behind me.

    Right, forgot about that.

Well done, Albino. May the best of us win.

Congrats on beating the challenge Albino!

Getting a word of MFD was actually the first thing I thought of when making the challenge, I was wondering if anyone would use it. You're time has been added to the discussion.

I noticed people were wondering when they will find out results so I thought I'd let you know that it will be whenever I get on the blog tomorrow. It is roughly 16:40 GMT as I'm typing this, so you have at least another 15 hours wait to find out who will be the new host, or to enter if you haven't already.

Done in 4.20.21 all on Legendary. I am not applying, just wanted to try.

Done using archery with Faendal as my follower, this was to boost my archery from the beginning. A perk in sneak and pickpocket as well. Using the wait function each time the horsey, or myself, ran out of sprint power sped up travel time.

Simply rushed through, letting Faendal tank the bosses. The Thalmor Embassy was quite easy, I sneaked and pickpocketed the guards who enter with Malborn to get the key to escape, no need for fighting - I used the shadow stone just in case.

The first fight with Alduin was the hardest, until I found out I could have Paarthunax, the Dragonbro, tank Alduin by dragonrending both. Then it was just hailing with arrows and dodging the occasional meteor, which made me figure out you can use the single word for clear skies and still keep Alduin grounded easily.

Skuldafn was maybe the hardest part after Dragonbro tanked and made the Alduin encounter easy. Liberal use of become ethereal helped.

Tsun was a pain, until I got him stuck and then it was easy .. real easy.

Final fight, well you got 3 tanks so same tactics as the first fight.

That's about it. It made me remember how tedious and boring the vanilla combat system is, good fun .. ain't doing it again.

You've got a pretty interesting run there. It's interesting to see how differnt your strategy was from anyone else. Archery seems to be a key part of completing this quickly as does shouts (we all used shouts in some way) I find it most interesting that you had trouble with the bits I found easiest, Tsun was no problem with 40+ One-Handed and I took him out very quickly. Skuldafn was pretty easy for me especially the Dragon Priest fight, I staggered him almost constantly and he didn't even get his cloak up. Well it's a shame you're not applying but good run nonetheless.
