Btw, how'd you go about charging the ebony blade with this character?

I was wondering how you were going to get me to like this race xD

I really like how you use all of the Sload characteristics, but also have created an anti-Sload character: that one-in-a-million Sload that goes out looking for adventure (kind of like Bilbo Baggins is with his fellow Hobbits). I like characters that bend away from what is expected of them.

You also do a great job physically creating the Sload race (probably one of the greatest difficulties builders face in the Exotic Races contest)... that screenshot in your 'Race' section is awesome :D

BTW--a necromancy/teleportation/support build is pretty freaking cool! You really DID do a fantastic job selling a race that I thought would be a difficult sale... this looks like a blast to play ;D

I actually cheated a little with that. I killed Faendal with the blade then I dead thralled him and killed him again.  Rinse and repeat until the blade is fully upgraded. This will work with anyone who is considered a friend.  This shouldn't level your twohanded skill either.

Wow, love the spot-on aesthetic. Another great build, well done!

Thanks!  The aesthetic was my primary concern. I wanted to rely as little on imagination as possible. The temple priest robes add a pleasing amount of bulk to the characters silhouette and feel foreign compared to all the other npc's in the game.

Ok so I altered my sload slightly, just for a bit more oomph. I've got him to lvl 50, removed the atronach stone for the lord stone and added the rest of the conjuration mastery perks to make soul cairn summons more viable. I also added the chirurgeon's alchemical abilities, and novice-adept destruction with 2 points of augmented shock, just to widen the scope of damage he can dish out without his zombies, and rune master, just so poison rune can reach farther.

I've been waiting to see someone use that little Magicka trick for something, I've always wanted to do something with it but I really love the way you've done it here. Something that's always underestimated is the Dead Thrall, I really love what you've done with it here, I mean those are some really sweet Thralls.

I don't have that much all to add to this, it's a great build and I really like what you've done with both the Sload and the unique parts of the build. Great work Vargr

Sounds like fun. I love shock spells alongside necromancy, it creates a great dark warlock look and feel.

Thanks Dragonborn!  I really liked how the soap creates a secondary requirement for casting dead thrall.  You really had to make it count.

I would've done frost but it's such a common element with necromancy, and so many things resist it. Fire didn't feel right because, well it's fire and necromancy, not really too compatible in my opinion. So few things actually resist shock, and like you say it creates this persona when combined with a necromancer. Plus it reminds me of an emperor palpatine and a frankenstein lightning creation sorta thing XD
