    Me! I've been working on a few builds but this might be the kick up the bum I need to actually post one of them. :) Artefact is Dawnbreaker.

    Why are Bloodscythe and Soulrender not considered artifacts? This makes me very sad...

    Well, almost all of the Teejiokno Noodlelords have signed up, yet not all together. If Teej signed up, we'd have the full package

    Artifacts have to have a unique appearance; Bloodscythe and Soulrender are scimitars (albeit with a unique enchantment).

    Some artifacts, even in the older games, are renamed versions of normal objects, more often than not

    We're going by UESP's definition here, which means that if it doesn't have a unique appearance, it's considered a unique item, not an artifact.
