    Does that mean that we can't join another faction like the dawnguard to get the crosswbow if we had a build idea that uses one?

    Every build has to use early-access gear (available at level 1) throughout all the game

    I like this idea a lot! And combine it with Ben's too, so basically EVERYTHING (except perk selection) has to be available at level 1.

    I have an idea. What about making illegitamate children of the current Jarls, or maybe of their fathers?

    Shoot, I already had a unique build all planed out if we did non-joinable factions!
