Don't forget it's YOUR story based upon TES. The only question I ask myself is this, In the TES universe is my plot plausible, if so, I do it.

    Does this group have editors?

I can't speak for anyone else Shor but I don't have the skill set to be an 'Editor' as such. Whether Okan would be willing to look over your work I wouldn't know. At what stage is the piece you wanted 'Editing'? Generally once members word check their pieces, then it's ok for posting unless the writer has specific issues such as possible sexual content.

There's a few of us who points out any errors via the comments afterwards. Then the writer can adjust and make corrections.

What about those who check "content quality", or if there are similarities between writers' work?

With regards to members blogs and 'Content Quality', we have a set guidelines Group Rules. However the Writing Etiquette for each members post isn't enforced. There are a multitude of different level writers here and the community isn't even half as large as say the build group. Our members list is in the hundreds while the build group numbers thousands.

As to similarities, they will always exist. The main one being most stories cover the same game. (I'm not trying to state the obvious here, just covering all my bases). Several members including myself read other members work as such for me at least I picks up techniques used by other writers which I hope makes me a better writer.

I've had a debate with another member lately with regards to similar writing skills. Writing is learned from writing and reading, so similarities will always develop. There's a few words which I now use in my story which I took from Lissette and her story. Her words were better than what I initially used, as such my thesaurus has now expanded.

Just so you know these are my views, I don't hold anyone else to them.

I'm babbling, sorry.  Is there a specific problem you want to address?

Well, to put it bluntly, I was wondering if there was a system, or person, or persons who will tell someone "This isn't good enough. Here's why. Go back and do it again." I was just curious if we had something like this in place.

We don't enforce the quality as such due to the different levels of writing. However saying that members who read other members are free to comment as long as they keep to these guidelines.

Finally, please be considerate of others. Constructive criticism is welcome, but do not outright attack an author’s work. Keep comments thoughtful and considerate; respect your fellow readers and writers!

Thank you, Sotek. And thank you for your time.

Hey fellow role-players, dungeon masters and word-smiths! I am new to the blog, and mainly joined to write my own "Wasteland Wonders" or "Skyrim Stories" and also to be surrounded (and hopefully appreciated) by others who admire, respect and enjoy these games as much as I do!
I'd like to compliment Okan-Zeeus for his awesome DOTE which was AWESOME. And also to everyone else who put the effort in to bring us some amazing stories.
Question: to what extent may I alter some lore to fit my story?
    Thanks all!
