Sorin Markov Planeswalker

Sorin Markov Journal entry #5 "The famine is killing many... Edgar Markov and I are some of the only ones left. He is trying to contact the demon Shilgengar. He is trying to find immortality, hopefully he can...." Journal entry # 7 "He found him!! Edgar found Shilgengar, he is talking now!... I'll go check in..." Journal entry #9 "Shilgengar and Edgar made a deal, The demon granted him agelessness and the ability to subsist on blood.. He is now a vampire, I will become one soon." Journal entry # 11 " I am a vampire now, I need no food, I need no sleep. This power is so great I can not believe it is mine. I can manipulate blood and minds to my will! My human form is just a costume I wear beholding my true self. My spark has ignited it is time for me to leave this desolate plane, and move on, seek my glories elsewhere..." Sorin Markov, is one of the oldest planeswalkers in the realms, besides Nicol Bolas. I will make a character bio on him too soon enough. Now this build is for all you Magic the Gathering fans out there. Sorin Markov is a vampire Sangromancer. There is no "blood" magic in skyrim besides low powered vampire spells, and Illusion can be substituted for the mind control branch of magic, Frenzy, Calm, etc... He will have to be a vampire, of course. Personally I have the Dawngaurd DLC and I have found that playing that way made the play through much more enjoyable. Now lets get into the more in depth information. RACE: High Elf. (I chose this because it fits the lore, and it has the necessary boost in illusion.) GENDER: Male. STANDING STONE: Ritual stone, lover stone, or lady stone. (The ritual can help you to summon a small army. The lover can help you with your many skills needed, or the lady stone to negate some of the vampire's ill effects.) STATS: 2/2/1 You will want to have your magic and health pretty even, with some stamina thrown in there for bashing and running. SHOUTS: Any shouts really, use all the ones that will make your enemies crazy, or will slowly harm them. EQUIPMENT: Nightingale armor: The Nightingale amor simulates what he wears, minus the hood. Snow elf armor: I would recommend this armor if you have the Dawngarud DLC. You will often see Sorin in white armor, with a ruby in the center. You will have to fight and kill one of the last snow elves. He is very hard to kill, I recommend getting the full unrelenting force shout, and Become Ethereal to jump down and retrieve this armor. It looks much better, but Nightingale works too. Weapons: In pictures I have seen, the best looking swords in the beginning of the game are silver swords which you can get while doing the companions, but for later use the daderic sword looks great. A sword like that was shone on the card Sorins vengeance. All weapons that can be enchanted, enchant them with drain life. Artifacts: The skull of corruption, Mehrunes Razor, possibly (since Molag Bal created vampires) The mace of Molag bal, The Wabbajack, Sanguine's rose, The black star, and maybe The ring of Namira. Now if you have the Dawngaurd DLC Lord Harkons Sword. Spells: All Illusion spells that involve Frenzy, Fear, or Calm. The Vampiric drain spells, can be great for role playing. Also Necromancy spells can be great, and conjuring a flame antronauch SKILLS Major: One handed: One handed is very important because Sorin is almost always depicted with a sword in his hand. Illusion: Illusion spells are key for this character to manipulate the mind of others, either snapping there brains to make them attack each other, or to make them flee in terror. Conjuration: To summon Flame antronauches, and the undead. Enchanting: This is a very good skill to have so you can enchant your armor with regain magicka, and health, or increase Magicka, and health. Also drain life for weapons. Restoration: To keep yourself alive. Minor: Light armor: For protection. Sneak: It is always good to have a little bit of sneaking just in case you need it. Destruction: For the vampiric drain power. Smithing: To create or enhance weapons or armor. You will definitely need arcane smithing. COMBAT STYLE Well Sorin would wield one sword (or Mace of Malag Bal) in one hand. In the other an illusion spell to make your enemies go crazy, or if you're really into role playing, Vampiric drain. One on one: Charge in and start attacking, with you're sword. Possibly cast a calm spell to take down you're enemy with little struggle, or give yourself time to heal. 2 or more enemies: If it is a low number of people like 2, cast a frenzy spell on one then run in and finish of the weakened enemies. Large groups: Pick out the strongest ones, and blast them with frenzy spells. If there is a high level leader use nightingale subterfuge, and make the leader attack their followers. after a bit of them killing each other run in maybe raise a few from the dead with some necromancy. you can also raise all the dead with the ritual stone. Either way use your powers to cause as much confusion and chaos on the battlefield. Quests Gear related: Thieves guild storyline, Dawngaurd (side with Seranna), Companions beginning parts until you meet the werewolf hunters, House of Horrors, Waking Nightmare The mind of Madness, A night to remember, The black star, and maybe the Taste of death. Fractions: The Dark brother hood main story line, Imperial side of the civil war, Arch Mage of the College of Winterhold. Other: Main story line, becoming Jarl of all the holds, other daedric quests. Well thats Sorin Markov, I tried to make him as flexible as possible. If you build him, and you like him please let me know. This is my first build so let me know how I did. I did not include a perks spread sheet, because I never liked them. If you would rather me put them on, let me know in the comments. I hope you like it!!!!!

Builds go in Character Building, not Role Playing. I suggest you move it there before it gets deleted.
