Some of you may have noticed the Thalmor Headquarters at Castle Dour in Solitude (It's just up the stairs to the right of the entrance to where General Tullius is). The building is completely devoid of inhabitants, but can make an excellent 3-story player home! You've got a cooking pot downstairs, a map of Skyrim by the entrance, and quite a few safe storage containers. Everything but the long chest at the foot of the bed upstairs is safe storage.
There's a number of high-quality potions up for grabs as well. Though taking anything will count as stealing, there's never anyone home though so it doesn't matter!
Tested on PC after placing an item in each container and waiting 1000 days
Completing the favor for Ondolemar in Markarth allows you to take all the items without stealing and sleep in the bed as well!

Seemed to work for me, though it doesn't really matter - you can just head down to the inn which is relatively closeby. It's primarily for the free storage.

There's a console command to set the timescale, it's normally at 20 (20x normal time). I typed in the 'set timescale to' command and held down 9 for a second or two.
Each day-night cycle would've taken 3 frames at most.
