"Welcome to my humble domain. My name is Teineeva, Auroran archivist and servant of any god praising knowledge. I suppose you've come to this dusty old citadel in search for the secrets I keep. Be careful with what you wish for though. These libraries hold secrets older than Nirn itself. Not convinced? Let me tell you a story of a man and his slow descent into Madness as he deperately tries to purge his memories by looking into the past of others."
The old man looks into your eyes and laughs. "Not afraid of a ghost story then? I'll have to warn you first though, the man I'm talking about was no ghost and will never be one. He is the one who pierced the Veils of Jhunal, and who haunts your every dream." The archivist walks towards an old shelf crafted out of dark ebonwood and picks up what looks like a roll of parchment. He unfolds it on the nearby desk and signals you to come closer.
This is the story of Aleksander Ravencrone, eldest son of the Jarl of Hjaalmarch in Skyrim, anno 4E201. In this tale, we will follow his life as he becomes the piercer of Jhunal's Veils.
This is a personal view of Skyrim and is heavily inspired by franchises as Game of Thrones or the Witcher, while still remaining true to the spirit of our beloved Elder Scrols.
Most of the story will be based upon events happening in the lands of skyrim at the start of the first year of the second century of the fourth era.
Not all the lore will be completely canon but if something comes up I'll make sure to explain how it fits in the pre-established.
If you have any questions, writing tips or just want to talk, don't hesitate to send me a PM.
-Teineeva
Eldest son of Idgrod "the elder" and Aslfur Ravencrone of Morthal, he is the first in line to become Jarl of the Hjaalmarch hold.
Twin brother to Idgrod "the young" and elder brother of Joric Ravencrone, he is much like the rest of his family (except for his father) plagued by nightmares and visions alike. This strange heritage has created a very close Relationship between him and the daedric prince of nightmares and mental torture: Vaermina.
Daughter of the famed Brina Merilis and her late husband Baerd Songbearer, this nordic beauty is renowned for her skills in battle and her dislike of her uncle Skald Songbearer, of Dawnstar.
While she is not directly in line for the ascension of the Dawnstar throne, she is the most likely candidate, especially since the people of Dawnstar grow weary of her uncle. Which begs the question: will she be a pawn or a player?
- Prologue -- Chapter 1: The spectre of the rose -- Chapter 2: Night vision --Chapter 3: Spoiled plans--Chapter 4: Of Hawks and Snow--Chapter 5: Recurring events-

Chapter four is here, it may have taken some time but I hope you guys like it
By the way, what do you think of the TOC? I'm having some doubts.

Well, if I can make a comment, it's not the writing that's throwing me off, but the images. I love the images you use for your builds and for Veils of Jhunal, but the image of Aleks is not in the same style.

I understand what you mean. It does look a bit off. I'll try and think of something better as soon as I have some extra free time on my hands. Thank you.
