A mortal of Nirn with the soul of a wyrm,
A dragon of the north, born from the east,
A traitor to his people, but a savior to the world,
This is the legend of the dovahkiin, the last of the dragon blood…
… The one who chased the wind.
Four souls journey to the north at a time of crisis. Dragons have returned, a threat unseen for thousands of years. Old tales speak of heroes born with their blood – mortals who could match the beasts in power. Their legacy lives on in the veins of a wanderer, a kind soul who wears a killer’s mantle. He must bear the weight of his terrible purpose and become the greatest dragon slayer Tamriel has ever known.
And he must do it against all odds… for there are those, in the name of justice, who would see him die trying.
This is an ongoing novelization of Skyrim's story, inspired by one of my most memorable playthroughs. It will be a chronologue of events told by four separate characters, each acting as narrators to their own tales. I will attempt to release new postings as often as I am able to do so.

Okan... third person can be just as difficult, if not more, than first person. There's only one freedom third person has from first: you can focus on multiple characters and have them speak like they're the narrator (in a sense).
What I mean is you can have something like-- nevermind you know what I mean
You can go from one person to the next and explain how they feel about a certain thing, instead of in first person where you have the main person of the chapter say "I could tell he was reeling on the inside."

I would disagree with you on some points.
The weakness of first person is that it doesn't have the strengths of third, and vice versa. Neither is better than the other and I understand how both work differently. First person places more emphasis on character and allows for richer, personal exposition. Third person places more emphasis on the setting and allows for broader sweeping views of the action.
The trick is knowing which one is best to use for whatever story you're writing.

Okay, okay, I get it. I do appreciate so many people trying to cheer me up, but's it's fine. I'm over things. Everyone can stop now. ^^
I know why I write this story: it's not just because I love doing it. It's because I love hearing how people enjoy it. I'm writing for you guys, not just for myself. I feel committed for the sake of the readers.
So I don't care if I get upset (because I'm going to). That won't deter me because I know I have an expectant audience.
Let's end the pity party here. I'm going to get back to writing.

Some updates.
I just got finished with - guess what? - more edits! A lot of far flung ones, too. Mostly across Arc 1. I really need to stop doing this, though. It's becoming a distraction. If I ever suggest editing those old chapters again, someone please threaten to punch me.
My aim is to finish chapter 17 this week. Chapter 16 should also get released. It's exciting to think that Arc 2 is about 3/4 finished! We're in the home stretch now.
Still thinking about how I'm going to approach Arc 3... It's definitely going to happen, but I want it to be the best it possibly can. I'm debating a few approaches. One idea is to actually wait until the entire arc is finished before releasing it. You know, book style. It would mean a fairly long wait (we're talking at least over a year) but it might ensure a more tightly written piece.
Either way, I'll be diving into my first original work alongside Arc 3. My hope is to push myself and try juggling both, though more time will be allotted to the novel than to DOTE. For the past few months I've mulled over several ideas and I think I've finally zeroed in on the one I want to write. I'm not comfortable discussing what the novel will be about since I'm still worldbuilding and coming up with plot ideas, but I think it has potential.
There's a fear, though, looming over me... The novel probably won't be good enough for publishing. I'm still learning. The skills it takes to write versus telling a good story are about as similar as plumbing and playing the piano. I've practiced writing, but not making books. My inexperience is going to show.
*sigh*
I don't care. I just want to go for it. This is absolutely what I want to do. I want to keep making stories for as long as I live. That's the dream.
So I'm going to keep chasing it.

I won't punch you Okan but I'll definitly leave fang marks in your tail.
In regards to this fear looming over you, I don't know if you have read it yet but go and read my TOC then the next part will make sense.
I learned three years ago not to take life lightly. If you want to write a novel then go ahead and do it. You don't know whats around the corner. Don't waste time thinking on it. Do it.

Sotek, I know that. That's why I'm doing it. But there's a trend among authors: most don't get published until their early thirties.
This has nothing to do with how long they wait to write - it just takes that long for most people to get good enough at writing! That's what I'm not looking forward to. The failure before the success.
But I've also accepted this as being part of the process. I'm willing to go through with it, even if it takes me a decade.
