Aujourd'hui je jouer de soleil en France après notre tente avec du pain du vin et du boursin.
For everyone who don't know what I'm talking about above. I'm on holiday in France with my family. The weather is great and the surrounding beautifull, only the internet connection is very bad just like the battery of my laptop, but that a small price to pay.
See you soon more frequently when I'm home again.
I'm back home!
and because of a special request, here're some holiday pic's
And Dieter..., villages with "half-rotten" houses are picturesque.
Also, actually I'm living in the crowded west of The Netherlands so I wouldn't mind when I see just 1 car per hour. (unfortunally the French have a lot of cars too, which they tend to place everywhere.)
By car. Actually, after 3 weeks, time was up and duty was calling. Also my oldest son was missing his mum (joking).
This part of France is littered with castles, ruins and this kind of villages, beside shallow slowly flowing streams and rivers. Several visitable caves can also be found there, one even have an underground boat trip in it. It was our 4th time in this area though. We'll go overthere a 5th time one day for sure.
I havent seen Roman ruins overthere, The ancient buildings and ruins are mostly medieval and beyond. Did see them in the south east part of France (Provence, Langedoc-Roussillon, etc.) though. The famous "Pont du Gard" is marvelous for instance.
I haven't visited the Lascaux caves yet, still on the wish-list.
