Skyrim being sent out early??

    Hey guys. Now this may be nothing but I ordered Skyrim from a well known gaming online retailer and yesterday I received a email from the which I have just seen saying that Skyrim has been posted!!  I ordered Battlefield 3 and I got an email in exactly the same way and received the game the next day a day before release.

    Now can it be that they have made a mistake and they have started shipping them already?  Or have they messed up and sent the emails out early?

    Has anyone else had a similar email?  If you received Skyrim early would you play straight away? I probably would but on the other hand I still feel I should wait until midnight on Thursday.

    It has just come through the post! Hell yeah! Only a few hours early in the end but hey that's fine. The map you get with it is pretty cool. It kind of has a textured feel to it. Not you normal boring plain feeling map. Looks the biz.  Happy gaming to all!!!

    Also there is no holiday on 11th Nov in the UK. Unfortunately we don't get any national holiday days between end of August and Boxing Day!  How bad is that!

    I did not buy it from Amazon. I am in the UK and although Amazon are generally pretty good over here getting games on time rarely happens.  The UK outlet I speak of nearly always get it to you at least a day before. Sometimes 2.  If it does come tomorrow ...  more

    I know how you feel! I also pre-ordered from Amazon.ca, so the chance of it showing up before the 11th is driving me crazy! Of course, it'll be impossible to play it until Friday anyways since it appears you must activate it via Steam...

    Oh god, you guys are killing me. Seriously? There's a chance of this happening? I ordered from Amazon too, and it's on first class so if they ship it AT ALL early I'm almost guaranteed to get it before release day... nnnngh.

    If retailers are sending them out early, I suspect its because its a holiday on the 11th and post/courier would be slow and/or not running that day.

    Good luck to Carl! Well mine did not come today but I would bet a fair sum of money that it will be here tomorrow or very very latest Wednesday.

    I wouldn't doubt if you got it early, you just wouldn't be able to play it until it unlocks.

    Heya, I pre-ordered the game like 2 weeks ago here in the Dutch, the guy told me there's a big possibility they're getting hold of the game on the 8th. That's tomorrow! I guess we're the first soul-less victims over here.
