    THIS IS NOT A SPOILER! I recently voted on which race i would be using for my first character on Skyrim, which is Redguard. I then realised that they have the least amount of votes, which i cannot understand, I don't know if anyone else has seen the starting bonuses for races (which I will not mention as I regard it as a spoiler!) but I certainly regard it as one of the top 3 races! Does anyone have any reasons specifically why they would pick redguard, or who they would rather choose?

    if you have an altmer/dark elf from oblivion, just remake him in skyrim (but a little older). High and dark elves can live for hundreds of years. (only if dark elves are from the houses of morrowind.High elves can live longer naturally)

    i always go with Nord, Imperial, Breton or Orc. i think Orcs are the best tanks, Bretons are the best all-round characters, Nord are the best barbarians and imperials make for great paladin classes.

    I like my character to resemble me a little so im going to pick Bosmer, Its because im short
    I dont rely care much for the beginning stats though, they all have there ups and downs

    I played a Reguard quite a bit in Oblivion.  I have never played a Khajiit, Bosner, High Elf, Orc or Imperial.  I choose Khajiit for my first character in Skyrim because of the improvements to the race and to the stealth skills.

    The events from Oblivion are 200 years in the past in Skyrim.

    Redguards have great stats, and they look gorgeous in the game (especially the females, rawr).
