Leveling Speeds?

    What do you think the speed of the leveling is going to be like?

    On my main character on Oblivion I had about 80 hours and I had a good bunch of level 100 stats, Skyrim might be able to make it slower because they have all the perks to make it more interesting instead of a perk every 25 levels like in Oblivion, And yeah, I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks about it.

    It kinda got me thinking that Bethesda have to very good 'front figures' in Hines and Todd, as they both are very pleasant to listen to and seem very composed no matter what happens.

    Oh, I forgot to comment on Petes statement that there were 220 perks in the game, when the number we have heard lately is 280.  This disparity is caused by Pete not counting the Ranks for perks which have them.  So there are 220 individual perks, with man...  more

    I actually believe it was Todd who said that you only get perks until level 50 :P

    No, that was an early rumor, but Todd Howard and others have stated clearly that you get 1 perk every time you level, reguardless of level.

    I believe that you won't get more perks after level 50 (so you have to carefully select your perks), so even though you can level all the way up to a theoretical lv 70, you won't get anything but a health/magicka/stamina bonus. That is nice, of course, bu...  more

    Thats highly unlikely.  If you count the perks which are "Ranked" (as in, 5 max levels) then there are about 280 perks in the game.  Assuming no books, items, quests or such give perks as a reward that means that the absolute max number of pe...  more
