A Note About Photos

  Hi everyone!

  As the new Photo Host, I thought it would be best to share how I plan to be organizing the current gallery.

  All images in the gallery have been sorted into a number of categories. You may search by these specific categories by clicking on the All Albums link at the top of the gallery page. The categories are:

  Real Life - pictures of our members, their families, etc. Tag: members 
  Wallpapers - high quality, high res images suitable for desktop backgrounds! Tag: wallpaper 
  Fanart - TES-themed art by both our members and others. Tag: fanart 
  Internet Humour - collection of fan-created memes, comics, etc. Tag: memes 
  Cosplay - for those of us who like to dress up! Tag: cosplay 
  Bethesda Concept Art - official Bethesda releases. Tag: concept 
  Screenshots - captures from official trailers, in-game footage, etc. Tag: screenshot 
  Non-Elder Scrolls Fanart - fantasy art. Tag: art 
  Avatars - for those who want to show us what their character looks like! Tag: avatar

  And now for a few notes on uploading...

  All uploaded photos must have something to do with Skyrim. This can include fanart, screenshots, ‘official’ release pics, etc. Photos that have nothing to do with Skyrim or The Elder Scrolls will be removed.

  Offensive material will be immediately removed.

  Duplicates of ‘official’ release screenshots will be removed. This is to keep the gallery clean, not because it’s necessarily offensive. In this instance, I'll be keeping whichever photo is of higher quality.

  Source your material, if possible. This is especially important if you’re uploading fanart done by someone else; credit should be given where appropriate. Include the author’s name and a link to where you found it. If you’re unsure how to do this, please PM me and I’ll try to source it for you.

  Tag your photos. Tagging makes it easier for members to search for specific photos!

  A note about Featured photos. I’ll be featuring new photos once a week, to be updated each Friday. If you think a photo should be featured, tell me about it!

  A note about Albums. Please do not upload your photos into albums! I will sort them into the appropriate group as they're uploaded. If you feel that your photo belongs in a group that doesn't currently exist, PM me. I'd love to hear your suggestion!
