Hyldes Journal - Appendix II - Causes & Character Premises

  I like to make some causes & premises for the characters that I play in Skyrim. It makes the basis for my answers and actions, and secures that I am always on the right track in terms of characterbuilding.
  These are the causes & premises for Hyldes - continuously updated.
  
  Main cause: To collect books for The Royal Library of Falinesti.
  Premises that links to this cause:

  • Hyldes will "take" books, but never "steal" them.
  • Hyldes will never "take" anything but books from her friends houses.
  • Every Sundas, Hyldes will drop collected books in a chest in her cousin Faendals house, for a Falinesti currier to pick up the next day.
    • Carries a key to Faendals house
    • Faendal is offering his companionship to Hyldes

  • The Royal Court of Falinesti had geared Hyldes up before her leaving, and so she's wearing the following:
    • Full set of Hide armor
    • Hunting bow
    • 25 Steel arrows
    • Light camping gear

  • The Royal Court of Falinesti has arranged for a horse to be disposable to Hyldes when she arrives to Skyrim. She must pick it up from a horsebreeder in Riften.

  
  Cause: Loyalty towards The Royal Court of Falinesti, the Bosmer people and their culture.
  Premises that links to this cause:

  • Hyldes will be happy to see any Bosmer in Skyrim, and offer to lend them a hand.
  • Hyldes will think twice before crossing a Bosmer.
  • Hyldes will dislike people who badmouth the Bosmer.
  • Hyldes will never harm any vegetation duo to the Green Pact.
  • Hyldes was trained in archery as any proud Bosmer would have been - she starts out with 30 pts. in archery and one pt. in the Overdraw perk.
  • Hyldes will not use enchanted items duo to the Bosmers opposition towards magic.
  • Hyldes will not use magic duo to the Bosmer opposition towards it.
    • She will however study magic through spell books and college.

  
  Cause: Being a nice person in general.

  • Hyldes will never "steal" anything, unless it is for a greater cause.
  • Hyldes will never break the law, unless it is for a greater cause.
  • Hyldes will choose the good side over the bad side.
  • Hyldes has a soft heart - she is likely to protect people.
  • Hyldes is against the Brigand and will fight them.
  • Hyldes will join the Companions.
  • Hyldes will try to become a Thane by doing honest work in most holds.
  • Hyldes cares more for friendship than opinion.
  • Hyldes will work against the Thiefs Guild and the Dark Brotherhood.
