I honestly came up with their names, originally, off the top of my head.  I would just play around with different combinations of letters and sounds until I started to find a sound and spelling that seemed appropriate for the character.  One thing I did with Aurelin was to deliberately NOT end her name with an "a," which is a nasty stereotypical habit I have when creating female fantasy names. ;D
Rhohirra, my Khajiit, was a name I actually created for a Morrowind Khajiit character. Â I had recently read Diane Duane's cat wizard books (for the umpteenth time!), and wanted to really capture that feline speech pattern. Â I mean, cats make lots of vowels when they meow, but their consonants are much more limited....I wanted a name that it seemed like a cat could pronounce. Â All of the R's in that name are supposed to be rolled, by the way, so it almost comes out sounding like a purrr with vowe... less
