    Morndas, 18th of Last Seed

The last two days have been hectic, to say the least! First, I finally arrived at Skyrim, eager to see the beasts of the wilds I've heard so much about, only to be arrested at the border! Seems like the conflict between the so called Stormcloaks and the Imperial soldiers was true after all.

As I was about to be executed at Helgen, a ferocious dragon appeared out of the sky and started attacking everybody! Thanks to that dragon, however, I was able to escape with a friendly Stormcloak soldier, Ralof. We went to his hometown, Riverwood. I met Faendel, the only bosmer in the area, and we became friends after I helped him out with a certain girl he was trying to woo. I went into a store to sell my things, desperately low on funds, when I heard the shop keep arguing with his sister about a missing item of theirs. I offered to get it for them, so I headed to this place called Bleak Falls Barrow. This dungeon was unlike anything I've ever seen before! There were the dead that suddenly came back to life! These guys gave me the creeps, I've never been good with the undead in general. Going through the tunnel, danger at every turn, took forever but finally I was able to retrieve the claw and even managed to fight an exceptionally powerful drauger (that's what they called these undead guardians of the dungeons) and I absorbed some kind of power from these words on a stone wall.

Back to Riverwood, the shop keep, Lucian, was more than happy to have his claw back. Gerdur, the stormcloak soldier that I escaped from Helgen with's sister, asked me to go to Whiterun to make sure that RIverwood would have enough soldiers to defend them from dragons. The Jarl seemed nice, however after I talked to the court wizard, I heard there was a dragon attacking nearby. Of course I jumped at the chance to slay the beast!

I went to this nearby tower and out of nowhere this huge fire-breathing dragon appeared. With the help of Faendel and these Whiterun soldiers, I managed to kill the beast with minimal damage (although at least two of the guards died in the attack). I went back to Whiterun, only to hear this strange rumbling that the Jarl said meant that these "Greybeards" were summoning me. I don't know who these Greybeards are or what they want with me, but I don't care. If they want to see me so badly, why don't they come down to see me themselves? I decided to stay in Whiterun for a while, the area seems like it's ripe with hunting opportunities. I checked into an inn for the night. It's now late at night, I should be getting to sleep soon.
