Nifst the Wanderer

  • Coming from a long line of nomad Nords, Nifst was raised a traveler. He had a unique sense of nature, hated approaching castles for trade, and loved the lonesome forest solitude.

He was clever with both his axe and shortbow, prefering close combat to finish the prey with a swift death, thus preventing an agonizing death. He never killed more than he needed to survive.

In the middle of winter the nomad camp was approached by an imperial nobleman demanding taxation for the use of the land the nomads had used since the beginning of time. The nord people dont like it when strangers come to their land and tell them what to do. The man was thrown of his horse by the nomads leader, Nifst's father. The noblesman was forced to eat the Violet Coprinus mushroom, making him glow blue from his mouth, to his embarrasment. The noblesman was also looted for items, but left him the gold and told him that gold was the work of the Daedra to curse people the need of material items.

Weeks and weeks later, the tribe was again approached with by the same noblesman.

The nobleman told the nomads he had brought guests. Over the hill came a small legion of imperial soldiers, armed to their teeth. The few nomads had never fought other people, keeping to themselves, not causing trouble. Their weapons were meant for small animals, not armored loyalists.

The nomads were slaughtered, hung and burned alive. Nifst managed to escape, but ever marked by the death of his father, and reminded by a burn on his forearm. As the sole survivor of the nomads he gathered what he needed of animal hides and flint to make arrows and fire.

He came in contact with the Stormcloaks later that year, all telling similar stories as Nifsts. He begun an adventure far from what he was used to, capturing imperial castles in the search of the noblesman with the blue mouth. He was known as Nifst the wanderer, feared by his deadly hate and admired for his courage and his powerfull strength in will.
