Ademe's Journal - Entry #1

  • Author Notes: Ademe is a blue-grey Breton Face Breaker(Monk), exiled from High Rock she left to live in the southern mountains of Skyrim.  And of course who should she run into while foraging for berries?  None other than our murderous friend Ulfric Stormcloak, and a rather large group of Imperials.  This entry takes place at level 8, enough time to properly set up the build.

    28th of Last Seed

Deciding to get an early start I left Sleeping Giant's Inn in Riverwood, much to my dismay, Allie's cries broke the peaceful morning air as Death Hounds charged at us, followed by their master.
I fought the best I could, trying to keep the hounds off of Allie, but they proved to be stronger than anticipated. After a barrage of heavy punches one of the beast finally fell, followed by the chugging of a few potions, I quickly turned my attention for the other. Between the Vampire and hound, things were not looking well. Standing before the blood sucker, Allie brought her hoofs down upon him, ending his cursed life. But the hound took advantage of the opening my steed had left herself in, taking her life.
Anger and shock overwhelmed me as I released my final blows onto the creature, close to tears I planted myself upon the steps to the Inn. Feeling angry at both the attackers and myself I sat there knowing I could had saved her, if only the attack hadn't been so sudden, maybe I would of thought to have healed her. I knew the spells...
As dawn broke and the town guards had finally showed their faces, anger again took me, "Where were you?" I cried out as they passed, they looked down muttering something about "Dawnguard".

*~* I had recently installed Dawnguard, and the random vampire attacks have proved so far to be nothing but trouble, often resulting in a bounty.  *~*

That happened to my favorite character ever a while back, and I wasn't done with the playthrough either.  :(

I accidently save over this game when playing my mage... wish save screen was more like Dragon Ages, separates characters into their own save list.

I like how your character was upset losing her horse.  I can't tell you how upset I get when I am fighting a dragon and my horse gets attacked by a sabra cat and is dead before I know what happened.  I like your first installment

I am going to assume you mean "Entry #1" and not "Entree" as in a food item.

Nice start, I'm glad I'm not the only person th have had a character rage over losing an animal.
