Collectors Edition Skyrim Strategy Guide

    I just heard today that in addition to the collectors edition of the GAME in skyrim that they are also planning on making a Collectors Edition STRATEGY GUIDE...but does anyone know the benefits of the CE strategy guide versus the standardother than it being hardback instead of paperback?

    I wrote something similar in Q&A about this. I'm getting the guide (which I got some shit for, but I like them for other reason than "cheating". Lore, creatures, etc.) But my question what was worth more, game and guide $94? or the CE box that doesn't...  more

    Googled it out of curiousity, apparently that map is worth 15 dollars, so yeah, it's just giving you a slight discount. More tempted to get that map than I am the guide. Here's the link, if you're curious.

    damn..i hope its like that map. thats pretty sweet. and as for the price difference yeah you're right...that IS kind of steep.

    I know the collector's edition seems to have a better cover and a digital map that sounds, frankly, sweet as hell. Something akin to this: http://www.uesp.net/maps/obmap/obmap.shtml

    I pre ordered the hard cover at Game Stop and I asked if there was anything special about the book itself or anything that came with it they didnt really seem to know for sure but they seemed to be sure it didnt so I guess its kind of up in the air

    Look it up on Gamestops website. I already have mine pre ordered both the collectors editions.
