Lilly-Anne's Journal Part 4 (Thugs, hugs and Whiterun)

Mara's mercy what happened last night. Oh for Talos' sake I hope nothing happened last night. I had some food and water as I sobered up. I saw Delving and Vex for some jobs as usual, nothing interesting happened whilst doing the several jobs, back and forth back and forth. Got some nice rings and gems which I sold to Tonilia.

Whilst doing these jobs over the past couple of days I can feel that my ability to stay hidden and enter undected has improved. During one job and the Bee and Barb that Argonian pest Talen-Jei kept watching me very closely, it made changing the numbers in the ledge a right pain in the ass. I sat down and had some food then picked up more jobs. Vex's one was to go steal an amethyst from the blacksmiths. As I entered there were three hired thugs that shouted out how they were going to kill me. I bolted straight back out the door expecting them to follow me but I turned around and they weren't there.

I thought about what I could do to resovle this problem. I snuck back in undected by them and slit one of their throats and bolted out the door as the remaining two got up and began the chase. I didn't really think this through. I conjured a familiar and ran around blocking hits and dodging just like Urzul taught me to. This paid off until I took a big slash from the bastard with the greatsword. I was cut and my swing was doing a lot less damage. I rememberd I made some poisons a few days back, not sure if I mentioned it, I quickly reached into my breast pocket whilst dodging out the way of a club swinging at my head. I dripped the vile onto my blade and dodged that bitch with the club again, as she was about to stabalised herself I plunged my dagger into her back, twisted it, then yanked it out making sure the poison seeped into her blood stream.

I bolted away from the bastard with the greatsword trying to compose myself so I could cast a healing spell to make the remainder of the fight a bit easier.

I conjured another familiar to distract him, he was a large thick Nord, I managed to get behind him as he fought my familiar. Clad in steel armour there was no way my tiny dagger could penetrate that, he lacked a helmet. I stabbed in several times in the back of his head and he stopped swinging his sword, dropped it to the ground, and collapsed on the ground as I pulled my dagger out the back of his skull. It had some brain left on it, tasty! I checked his body for a note of who set them. I found out that it was the blacksmith's apprentice; Asbjorn. I entered the Scorched Hammer, undetected, slit his throat and nabbed anything of value on his cold dead body, chucked in in the fire he was sitting around to burn him. Fucker. I took the amethyst and returned to the guild.

Lets just say that Vex was not pleased... I didn't recieve my gold...

I decided I would do some jobs somewhere else as I'm getting bored of the same old places in Riften... I picked up two jobs in Whiterun and was approached by a letter from the Jarl of Falkreath, he had heard about my... Endeavours.

I took a carriage from Riften to Whiterun, I didn't see much on the journey and couldn't sleep as it was bumpy.

When I arrived I took a walk around town seeing the places I had to break into, one of them was a shop, Warmaidens, so I took a look inside posing as a potential customer.

I came across the alchemists shop and popped my head in there, I had a chat to the alchemist and persuade her to give me access to her ingredients chest. I made 20 potions of invisibility which should come in handy when breaking and entering. I retired to the inn and bought a bed for ten septims, bit expensive if you ask me but I can afford it with the amount of coin I'm bringing in at the moment. Once I've saved up enough I plan to visit Morthal, father said mother and a close friend named Falion who she practiced her conjuring skills with. I would like to learn from him.

I had cheese and water for dinner, surprisingly it was a good mixture.
