Tsadhi (Character Sheet)

  • "I have my skill, not powers or magic."

    Tsadhi

31 years old, born in Elsweyr but raised in Leyawiin

Parents: Father died while she was young, in a Thalmor purge. Her mother brought her sisters and her over the border when she was still a toddler. Her mother died five years prior to the game, destitute and alone, and Tsadhi resolved to make sure she did not suffer the same fate. She dreams of piles of coin, and has the beginnings of a skooma problem.

Faith: None (her mother was a devout believer in Azurah before she lost herself in her sugar in later years)

Profession: Thief (served some time as a Khajiit caravan guard as a form of laying low, and making it into Skyrim)

Level of Education: Tsadhi is literate, but barely. She is disinclined towards the magickal arts, save for Illusion, though she knows no spells and will not likely go out of her way to find a teacher. She makes due with potions, scrolls, and the occasional staff. She has picked up a little bit of alchemy, and finds it incredibly useful, but doesn't care any for its more philosophical components. If it helps her survive, then she's into it.

Martial talents: She's survived using a bow-and-arrow for most of her wandering life, and prefers unarmed combat using her claws when things get too close. If she had to choose an actual melee weapon, she would rely on a sword, but knows little more than that the sharp end goes into the bad guy.

Personality (in 5 words): Brusque, lively, sly, easy-going, greedy

    Virtue: Hope

    Vice: Greed

    Backstory:

After her mother's slow, wasting death a number of years before the present, Tsadhi and her sisters began to drift apart. Tsadhi herself saw it as an excuse to leave Leyawiin behind forever, and quickly sold what little inheritance she gained, using it to fund a trip to the Imperial City. Once there, she quickly ran out of money, and managed to survive doing a few odd-jobs on the side: a burglary here, muscle for a protection racket there. She turned down the most violent jobs, squeamish at the thought of actually killing somebody, but had no problem roughing up the people her employers wanted her to. After only a year, though, a job went south, and Tsadhi fled the city with a bounty on her head. It was on the road to Chorrol that she ran into the leader of one of the Khajiit caravans crawling across Tamriel. She took up a job "guarding" the caravan, which proved to be little more than the legitimate cover to what was actually a trans-Cyrodiilic smuggling operation.

Her life settled into a comfortable routine, after that. They would follow their route back and forth across the province, and Tsadhi earned her keep by sneaking past the guards to make clandestine drops behind city walls. Nine months prior to the current time, she accepted a special job from her caravan leader. She set north, her paperwork completely legitimate, crossed the border to Skyrim, and went straight to Whiterun. Not allowed to live within the walls, she used her skills with the bow to survive, waiting. She kept her distance from the local bandit groups, not wanting to get caught up with a rough crew who's only promise was an eventual violent death. Finally, after a fortnight of waiting, Ri'saad's caravan came into site. Retrieving her satchel, she met them on the road, and handed over a supply of moonsugar (that had only been slightly diminished) worth her weight in gold. Finding her trustworthy, Ri'saad asked if she might stay with them. Agreeing, eager to see new sites and grateful for the safety in numbers, she was equipped with a set of new leather armor.

Now, she is starting to feel restless again. Ri'saad has been good to her, and made it clear that she will always have a job waiting for her if she runs into trouble, but Tsadhi wishes to see more of what Skyrim might have to offer. She's taking everything she has left, and has decided to head to Riften. If the rumors are true, it's a corrupt city, but one that might actually be willing to let a Khajiit inside of its walls. Who knows? Maybe she'll even find work there.
