Today I'm wondering what everyone's best, favorite, or most memorable moment was in TES. Was it picking up the sword of "Fury" in Morrowind or maybe the "Adoring Fan" in Oblivion? Which ever game from Arena to Oblivion tell us your story.
I really enjoyed the more surreal quests, such as in Shivering Isles when I was confronted by a shadow version of myself and had to drop all my weapons to win, or when I poisoned the Duke of Mania--his poetry was so awful! Â

Outside the Shivering Isles, my favorite moment was seeing the Elder Scrolls themselves and then escaping down a chute into the sewers. Â I was really curious to see what would be in the scrolls themselves, and was disappointed that I myself did not come away somehow enlightened by the experience. less
Perhaps killing that tree in the Oblivion Fighters Guild. Just kidding lol. I would have to say stealing the Elder Scroll for the Thieves Guild is one of them. I would also agree with the other comments mentioning the butterfly room in the Shivering Isles. That waz so awesome when I first saw it. I thaught that I was going into Wonderland.

We went up the stairs to a little hut situated a good 15 feet above the other ones in the poor plantation. Up there was a not very talkative man who had a strange sword, which we had not earlier encountered, on his back. Obviously, we attacked him, and he takes a good chunk of 90% off our health with his first swing. Mind you, at that point we were level 8 and out most expensive item was the dark brotherhood chest plate we wore(1000g's worth), so when we finally down him after a lot of health potions and a blade with paralyze on hit and he drops a daedric die katana worth 120.000 gold dealing massive damage we were just ecstatic less
Yeah, i agree with Griffith too, the butterfly room was amazing although the mages guild in oblivion always felt like home even though i use stealth characters.
Coolest... The redoran capital (in morrowind forgot it's name) I mean that big building... That is the shell of something tell me that ain't cool.
Safest feeling.... To me Balmora just really felt safe and secure.
Most annoying/frustrating... Any telivany their buildings were confusing and the halls of said buildings just barely fit your character... Was a nightmare while levitating (which you had to do often in them)
Vivec also needs mentioned while much easier to navigate it was very hard to find someone/something. All those levels and it's size whew...
My favourite would have to be Chorrol.. It looks like it could be real yet at the same time it is so beautiful...
But to specifically answer you question... Idk. I have to many memories in too many towns to choose one lol less
