Skyrim: The guilds

    We know Skyrim will include the Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, Imperial Legion, and the Storm cloaks, but what will you join? What will you expect from each? Will you want a more impressive and exiting Fighters Guild? Some interesting twist in the guild quest? Longer guild quest? Do you expect some dragon fighting or dungeon crawling infused in them? What is your take? What do you want in the guilds of Skyrim?

    I'm going to try and join as many as possible but I'm really hoping the Fighters Guild is a lot better. I feel like the quests(and rewards) were just not as great as some of the other guilds. Hopefully they all have really good detailed story lines within...  more

    I want the guilds to have a more random quests so they don't follow a set path and then your done but have a huge number of quests they may be a tiny bit repetitive but don't stop. I also want your actions with the guilds to effect the final outcome of th...  more

    I'm really interested in the details about the whole Legion vs. Stormcloaks situation.  I will probably figure out more about each side and then decide which one I will join.

    Well character 1 will join all that she can.... But she will really only work on the thieves guild, dark brotherhood, and stormtroopers/legion... Depending on which seems the more benevolent.

    Second will join all again, but focus on companion...  more

    first guild i likely join is the companions guild, im deffinately gonig to join the dark brotherhood, and probly the storm cloaks.

    I'm really excited about the stormcloaks/legion, since apparantely you will be leading attacks on cities and forts! I know the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild will be unique, but I expect Bethesda took some feedback from Oblivion and varied up Fighters...  more

    I am going to join all of the guilds, but with different characters.  Some characters will join one, some none, two is probably my max.  I hope the guilds have prerequisites for joining and ranking.  I hope the quests are really taylored toward the skills...  more

    I'll probably end up in the Companions as I think they should match up with my "anti-Legion" backstory.  Maybe the Dark Brotherhood, although stealth will not be in my original build.  I guess we'll see!
