Treasure Hunting

  •  Six days . . man . . less than a week until... Oh, um, sorry, hehe

We do know that their will be treasure, and treasure maps, in Skyrim, but how exactly do you want that to work? What are your ideas for Treasure Hunter Quest? Got any good ideas for maps? Locations? Quest starters? Rewards? To get you thinking, do you want it so that you have to get in a cave, but a dragon's sitting on it? Do you want it so that there is a door that you cant pass until you find some keys hidden in other parts of the cave? Instead of a having the map on a simple piece of paper, how about on a bowl or on the back of a shield? How about you go to were the map tells you, but you find another map there instead, and that map leads to another, and it ends up being a super long treasure hunt? Or a map leads you to cave, and you find a diary that guides you step by step you through puzzles and traps?

There are endless ideas when it comes to treasure hunting, so if you have one you wanna show the world, this is the place to show it off!

What I would love is if there is different categories of difficulty for each treasure map, sort of like tiers, but we wouldn't know the tier of the treasure map. So, for example, a tier one treasure map's steps would be quite easy, but a tier two's treasu...  more

I hope the treasure maps are like the ones in red dead. poorly drawn maps on tattered parchment with landmarks being your only clues.

I'd love to follow a treasure trail across Skyrim, in mountain high and valley low, hunting my way through a sequence of increasingly rewarding chests before using something gained from each to piece together a riddle and find the 'grand prize' at the cen...  more
