No Block While Dual Wielding.

    This has been annoying me ever since I heard it a while back. You can't block while dual wielding weapons or weapons and spells. It makes the combat seem unrealistic. If a guy with a sword is coming to kill me I think I would definitely want to block, fire in hand or not. I realize there aren't enough buttons to map a block button while dual wielding but it still bothers me. Any thoughts?

    As far as blocking in the mentioned video, the character is NOT dual-wielding. Blocking while having a weapon in one-hand and nothing in the other is not a dual-wield block - so one button for attack, one for defense (block). I don't think it's 'weapons c...  more

    I too read the rumor regarding a perk to allow for dual block, but in hind-site, I really do not know how you would map either a console controller or mouse to allow for both power attacks and blocks.  In fact, I am in agreement with Alduin... dual wieldi...  more

    Hmm, the video that Scott posted a link does indeed seem to show the player blocking with a one-handed axe..
    Surely they'd have to implement blocking whilst dual wielding, it just doesn't make logical sense otherwise. I'm sure I read an article some...  more

    I know I have ranted about this before, but couldn't they have set duel wield weapon blocking to holding both mouse buttons (triggers)?

    I thought I saw in one of the videos both the character and a druagr blocked with a weapon instead of a sheild.

    Or they could have at least added a parry system, that would be pretty neat.

    Let's hope! I really want to sneak while using a dagger and magic. I guess after they see me, I'll switch to a shield.
