Introduction

  • The Adventures of Sendai

    *

Ah! After finally installing all the awesome mods I need it is time to  play through the whole game once and for all. Before starting I thought about doing two things.

First of all I thought it would increase the fun a great deal by recording the whole adventure through pictures and writing. So I found the Skyrim Blog which seems to be a good way of doing so.

Second I thought about writing down some premises and stuff revolving my character and try to play the game with these premises in mind. The typical "roleplaying" stuff I assume. Nothing extremely advanced though. Just something to spice the gaming experience up a bit and make it more fun and interesting.

So feel free to watch my progress or doom in the epic but harsh world of Skyrim! ;)

    Well then... here we go.

    The Elder Scrolls - Skyrim

    My protagonist:Name:
    Sendai

    Race:
    Redguard

    Gender:
    Female

    Personality:
    Cynical, pragmatic, and callous.

    Major skills:
    Light Armor +25
    One handed +25
    Stealth +25
    Lockpicking +25
    Pickpocket +25
    Speech +25

    Minor skills:
    Marksman +10
    Block +10
    Alchemy +10
    Smithing +10
    Alteration +10
    Destruction +10

    Background story:
It is said there are only two ways to survive as an orphaned and poor girl on the streets of Hammerfell; prostitution or starvation. Sendai decided to create a third way. Stealing from the rich and give to her poor self. Eventually Sendai could invest her skills into the secretive group known as the Al'Akir where she developed her talents over time. She became a hunter of men, skilled in tracking quarry and bringing them back alive or dead whether for lawful authorities or underworld masters as long as there was enough money involved.

    Conclusion:
Beside all these mods I have some other mods I probably forgot to mention
or that just changes various textures and/or graphical input.
Such as a more realistic och fantasy-inspired text font or a revamped
world map that looks much more realistic to me than the ridicilous
satellite map that was used in the vanilla game.

Yes that is a lot of mods!
And they all work perfectly fine together and so far no issues detected through testing.
Note that I have experimented a lot with different types of load orders and settings
in order to make this all work.

    That was it!
    The adventures of Sendai begins...

Indeed! Better magic is definately the best magic overhaul mod so far. =) The Shadow Striping fix doesn't seem to cause any problems so far. But if I run into any I might know what's causing it then. Thanks! <3

Yay. Somebody like Better magic I see. I think is a superior alternative to the more popular magic overhaul mods.
By the way, if you use Realistic Lighting with Customization as listed, you no longer need shadow striping fix, if I recall correctly. ...  more
