Dragonborn - My character backstory (part 1)

  It was night. The full moon shone, perhaps brighter than usual, and the air was cold and moist. A beautiful blanket of stars lay across the sky, and made the night even brighter, as the trees in the forest cast eerie shadows on the ground. There was no wind and there was almost no sound to hear, except for a woman, who was fleeing trough the woods.

  She wore a dark robe that fluttered behind her as she ran. Her long hair was white as snow, eyes red as blood and her skin dark as ash. She was a Dunmer. She looked behind herself as if she were looking for someone, by the terrified look on her face, you could tell she was hiding. In her arms she carried a child, a Dunmer boy.

  The people who chased her was closing up on her and she was starting to get tired. Suddenly an arrow came flying trough the air and hit her right in the back. She gasped for breath and fell as the child fell out of her arms and landed softly on the grass. "You are no match for us, you foolish woman! Did you really think you could escape?" said a voice right behind her. She turned and saw a dark figure standing right in front of her.

  "Just give up already, we need the boy!". It was a man's voice. "Let him be, take me in his place!" she begged. The man just laughed at her. It was an evil, shrill laugh. "Oh really? I dont think so". He started walking towards her. "Then you leave me no choice", she said and closed her eyes.

  WHOOM! Suddenly she was surrounded by a ring of flames! The man screamed as he fell on the ground, burning. She tried to get up, but she couldn't walk. The spell had drained most of her powers and the poison from the arrow was killing her, slowly. The last thing she saw was a group of poeple coming towards her, then everything went black....
