TES Graphic Novel

  • I've talked to Paul about starting a group to make a TES graphic novel. It's my first time doing this and I can't do it by myself.  I'd like to take volunteers to help with the project.  Not saying it will make it this far, but the goal is to have a finished, published graphic novel that is accurate to TES lore and OKed by Bethesda.

    All members will have a chance to input on the plot, characters, and illustrations. Decisions are finalized by all members voting. Majority rules.  Each member will then have assignments to complete according to the decisions made by the majority and their field of expertise within the project. If and when completed all members who helped make this dream a reality will get to vote on what to do with any money produced from the final project.

    Also if and when it is completed everyone who participated will receive credit for the help in making the graphic novel. Although it is my original idea, I'm only skilled at pen and pencil illustrations. I will need multiple members with experience in coloring via photoshop, other illustrators, writers, editors, and a few people who have experience in managing team/group projects. If I'm missing something else please feel free to say so.

    This group will allow a little outside input but for the most part I'd like the team to have things under control within the group. This will be the fans making Bethesda. Start by giving your name, what you can contribute to this project, useful skills, and why you want to be part of this group.  Anyone that doesn't take this request seriously need not comment or reply.

    After hearing enough feed back and getting the final verdict from Paul about making the group I will begin accepting members. Thank you.

    Anyone interested in helping with the project should friend me on the blog so I can message you privately. I understand everyone, including myself, is going to be stuck on skyrim for atleast a few weeks and that the holidays are upon us. But once again this project is still in the planning stage with no starting date as of yet. Right now I'm basically working on getting together a team of people to make it possible. I'm looking to feel all the positions listed above with smaller groups of around five people each. each sub group will have a group leader to make sure everything runs smooth. Teamwork is the way to go on this so first we build a team.

    Everyone that I'm sending friend request to I am interested in. So let me know whats good and I'll let you know where I could use you. Also, I'm in need of more lore experts.

    So far I have these possible positions for Book 1

    Writing= 5/5 people   0 possibles (Writers filled for book 1)

    -Ryan Nortan -Ian Gustafson -Arthur Keen -Vix -Seth Davis

    Editing=3/5 people    0 possibles

    -Mark Dunn -Bodin -Atlas Greyson

    Illustrating=3/5         1 possible (  -Talon)

    -Me -Dylan Mcleod -Samer

    Coloring=3/5 people   1 possible (-Mr. Mojinir)

    -Niko Anonamix -Rachel -Samer

    I need one complete team by Thursday to get started when hopefully the group is opened to me.

    Everyone on the team so far has been sent a Plot Point to begin on. Be ready Thursday to show what you come up with and we can go from there. Thank You.

    Hey Matt, I would be very interested in doing editing for the graphic novel. I know my way around the English language so I think that I could help your team in the editing field

    I do a lot of project management work in my day to day and enjoy reading graphic novels.  I can help manage timelines and be a sounding board for writers/illustrators.

    Just speaking from experience of having done a little creative writing, I would be careful about making every decision by voting. Totally understand the democratic principle and getting peoples ideas is great but in terms of having a coherent overall plot...  more
