The Speaker 1: A Unexpected Visit

  • She is not the Dragonborn.

    But she is trained.

For years, she has studied as the Graybeards' most secret charge, the one who succeeded where Ulfric failed.

When her land descended into war and her friends and family died at the hands of the Imperial Legion, and smoke rose from the city she called home, she stayed true to her calling.

For she was not one given to pursuit of fancy and passion. No, she was a tool in the Graybeards' hands, their worker in the land where even their own power would not suffice. Their Speaker.

A weapon, honed in every way, able to do whatever is required of her.

But the world doesn't care about heroes or weapons. It does what it does. While she's been in the mountains her entire life, things have changed down below. The Legion guards the doors of her home.
The Stormcloaks, the once valiant defenders of a dying way of life, are scattered and broken, trampled beneath the Legion's iron boot.
And dragons, their power unchecked by the broken and weary continent over which they fly, now ravage the land, killing more innocents each day, and growing constantly in number.

But it is in such times of trial that a Speaker has her place. The Graybeards' calling sends her to the furthest corner of the land, to seek the one responsible for the calamity that has fallen across Skyrim.

Monsters fall at her touch and darkness flees before her sight. Nothing will stop her from fulfilling her mission. From answering her calling. Nothing will stop her from finding...the Dragonborn.

Or at least that's what she tells me. In my opinion, this Nose speaks too highly of herself.
Now what did I say about speeches?

This should be a film! Clement Bilhorn, you should be a professional novelist.

Is this a new series? Or is it the Dockworker again?

If it makes you feel better, I won't be able to keep up nearly the same pace as before this time. Life has become very busy. But I wanted to get this "teaser" out there for the fun of it.

Just when I had finally gotten my life back, you return and take it away.

Damn you, Mr. Bilhorn, damn you.

On a more serious note, welcome back!
