Dear Amber,
No words can express on the emotion I felt on reading your note. Not a single moment has past by when you haven’t been in my thoughts. To read that you were not living happily ever after saddens me greatly. How I wish I had gone with you to keep you from harm.
By the time this note reaches you I may be travelling over the great seas so please wait for me Amber. I will get to you some how no matter what the cost. If Lord Marshman is in trade with this town then I’m confident we can come to an arrangement but first I must find a small fortune to fund my journey.
Sadly with this note of hope I bring you good and bad news. I travelled to tell your family of the sad news of your late husband but good news of your well being but on arrival at the small town I heard of a wedding celebration.
Amber I wish with all my heart that I could tell you this news to you in person. Roar is very much alive but is now remarried. I can only imagine him needing to fill his empty heart after all these years of thinking you are dead.
I left the town the same day and as you read this everyone still thinks you are dead. What you do with this news is a path you must take alone.
Amber I will be with you as quickly as I am able to, again I ask, no I beg. No matter how long it takes for me to reach you please wait for me as I may never find you again.
River.
