Journal of Durash Khagrat #1 - This wasnt what I expected to find!

   (Hi everyone, I decided to start a journal for a new character! Her name is Durash Khagrat, and she is a Half-Orc. Her father was a Nord trader who fell in love with her mother while trading with one of the strongholds. Her father left a few years ago, and soon after her mother died. She is off searching for her father when she is ambushed by the Imperials. Enjoy  )

   

  I wake up in the back of a cart, my hands are tied and there are 3 strange men in here with me. I learn that one of them is The Jarl of Windhelm, leader of a rebellion, a horse thief and another man. I guess that we are being taken to be executed.

  We arrive in a town called Helgen, and my fears are confirmed; there is an executioner standing there. We are called of the carts one by one, and the horse thief tries to make a run for it, but is quickly picked off by archers. The Nord with the list calls me. He tells me that I am not on the list (why would I be?), and asks my name. I tell him "D... Durash Khagrat" The commander tells me that I must go to the block, even though Im not on their list. The Nord tells me that my remains will be returned to Orsinium. I dont have time to protest (I'm not from Orsinium! My family is here, in Skyrim!) before I am marched towards the block. One man is executed, then I am called. As I place my head on the block, a dragon attacks! Im not really sure what happened after that, only that I soon find myself with a choice: Do I follow the Nord (who Ive learned is called Hadvar) who is with the Imperials, or the Stormcloak Nord, Ralof? My desision is made when Hadvar tells me he will cut me loose inside the keep. I follow him in through the door.

  I find some armour and weapons in some chests inside, and some gold. This should help me on my travels to find my father.

   

   

  Me and Hadvar have to fight our way through lots of Stormcloaks, some giant spiders and even a bear! Unfortunately the man who followed us from the torturers chamber, im guessing he was the torturer, was killed by Stormcloaks. Me and Hadvar avenged his death though.

  We eventually make it to a town called Riverwood, where we meet his uncle, the blacksmith, named Alvor. I trade weapons and armour I picked up in Helgen for a better set of armour, this set made of leather. Alvor tells me that the Jarl of Whiterun needs to know about the dragon, and asks me to go and tell him. Helping these people seems more important at the moment that finding my father, so i shall head of to find the Jarl tomorrow. I must keep looking for my father though, for if he is still alive, he must also be told about this dragon.
