Last weeks poll drew a line in the sand after one month of Skyrim and asked 'How are you doing with the game?'
Just over 1200 people voted, and these were the results:
As we can see, just under a third of you voted for the option that said you felt you'd barely scratched the surface of the game yet - even though lots of you have clocked upwards of 100 hours of game time. Of course, that bears testimony to the longevity of Elder Scrolls games in an era when many games are finished and put back on the shelf after 10-15 hours.
In joint second place were two more options that showed that most of you are still buried deep within the land of Skyrim. A healthy 24% of you said that you had finished the game's Main Quest, and had now created to second or subsequent character to do quests, explore, adventure and generally 'do stuff'. That's a total of 80% of you who are engrossed with the game and still feel you have plenty left in the tank....
Then we have 12% who said that they were making and re-making characters to try out different options in the game, plus 4% who haven't even played the game yet - I hope you guys get a nice surprise from Santa in a few days time!
And most surprising of all (to me at any rate) is the 4% who admitted that they felt they were done with Skyrim entirely and had moved onto another game. I genuinely feel sorry for those 4% who appear to have completely missed the point of Skyrim....
Anyway, an interesting poll and a result that should please Bethesda. What do you think?
And an equivalent number said that they were pretty well ignoring the Main Quest and were happily doing side quests, roleplaying and building up their character story.
