Artifact Week starts here in the Vault!

    This week is a theme week - and this time we are looking at Elder Scrolls Artifacts

    There will be a series of posts, features and events around the theme of Artifacts. Look out for blog posts, polls, videos, pictures and posts from our archives.

    To kick things off we have our poll - but this week is going to be something different. Because there are just so many artifacts in the world of Elder Scrolls, instead of a weekly poll there will be a series of 'flash polls'. These polls will only last for ONE DAY. Yes, you have just 24 hours to vote and comment.

    Tomorrow morning we will have a brand new poll -and so on through to week up to an including Thursday. The Top 2 from each poll (8 artifacts in total) will go through to an Artifact Super-Poll that will run over the weekend here on The Tamriel Vault.

    So, there's no time to waste. Cast your vote TODAY for your favourite Daedric Artifact - because tomorrow the poll will be about another category!

    And look out for more front page features about artifacts as the week progresses...

    @Idesto, my spellcheck keeps changing it to artefact, but I'm conscious of the high proportion of Yanks on the site

    Personally, I have three with a rising fourth thanks to my Mother and tweaking skills.

    Although I almost never play characters that can justify doing the quest, I voted for Sanguine's Rose. That thing is like a sniper that shoots out Dremoras!

    Gotta go with Saviour's Hide, even if the enchantment isn't that nice. So badass and savage looking.

    I know it's not the most powerful or interesting artifact, but I have a real soft spot for the Razor. I usually try to get it early on. Daggers are generally my weapon of choice though.

    Wabbajack, Dawnbreaker and Oghma Infinium are winning. Can't say I'm surprised. I also see that the ring of namira, sanguine rose, skull of corruption and hircine's artifacts are really unpopular. What makes them so boring?
