Daedric Shrines

  • Hi guys! Today I wanted to ask about daedric shrines. Personally, the shrines in Oblivion were some of my favorite quests in the game (Sheogorath's immediately comes to mind), as they were all very unique and offered pretty awesome rewards. I'm really excited about seeing them again in Skyrim, and judging by the screenshot of Azura's shrine, it looks like they'll be a little easier to find. However, the achievement list for Skyrim lists and achievement called "Oblivion Walker" for finding a certain amount of daedric artifacts. Do you think we will be traveling to Oblivion to complete these quests, or will they be similar to Oblivion's quests? What do you guys think and hope we will see?

I don't think we'll literally go to the Daedric planes, but I could be wrong! It'll be very interesting to find out.

I hope the Cowl of Nocturnal is part of a shrine quest instead of some guy having it. I'd like to steal it from Nocturnal or persuade him/her to give it up

I highly doubt any traveling to Oblivion lands will be in this game. They have Skyrim to worry about, they aren't going to put quests found in Skyrim, a wonderfully beautiful world, and have you go back to Cyrodil to complete quests. That land mass from O...  more

The  closing of the oblivion gates in oblivion was the realm called "the blacklands". That was the realm ruled by Mehrunes Dagon (as im sure you all know, the prince of destruction) I'm not sure which other daedric prince transported you to his realm in o...  more
