Unbound, Joe's Dungeon Guide Part 1

  • Welcome To

This first page is dedicated to my character profile, playstyle, and "Table of Contents."

I will give you fair warning that my guide is NOT set up like most other blogs on this site; i.e. Bilal, Ponty, Vix, etc. I do not tell my character's story through narrative, but rather a "play-by-play" as I progress through the dungeon and/or the surrounding area.

This being said, expect "Joe's Dungeon Guide" to be a walkthrough with pieces of narrative thrown in to keep it from sounding like a strategy guide; if you want something like that, Gamestop has them.

The guide will be in no particular order; i.e. Companion quest to Bandit Fort. However, I will try to stay in any single Hold for as long as I can before moving on. I do take suggestions, but, if you're patient, that dungeon will show up in the guide. (Do NOT suggest Blackreach... I realize this is a massive dungeon and I plan on doing something special for it.)

Lastly, I am playing on the 360, but will do my best to edit screenshots and get a picture of Pillow ASAP.

Note1: Gear will be updated as I upgrade in-game.

    Note2: Right Hand1 & 2 refer to hotkeys.

     Character:

    •   Name: Pillow
    •   Race: Breton
    •   Why: I chose the Breton due to their passive ability for magic resistance; this resists all magic types, shouts, and dragon attacks(other than physical).

     Gear:

      Head: Imperial Officer's Helm

    • Upgrade Condition: Fine
    • Enchantment: +24% Magicka Regen
    • Armor Rating: 28

      Necklace: Amulet of Kynareth

    • Enchantment: +10 Stamina

      Ring: Silver Ruby Ring

    • Enchantment: +15% Two-Handed Damage

      Chest/Body: Steel Armor

    • Upgrade Condition: Fine
    • Enchantment: +24% Magicka Regen
    • Armor Rating: 52

      Hands: Steel Imperial Gauntlets

    • Upgrade Condition: Fine
    • Enchantment: +15% Two-Handed Damage
    • Armor Rating: 21

      Feet: Steel Cuffed Boots

    • Upgrade Condition: Fine
    • Enchantment: +15% Two-Handed Damage
    • Armor Rating: 21

Right Hand1: Steel Battleaxe of Bitter Cold

    • Upgrade Condition: Fine
    • Enchantment: +12 Frost Damage to Health and Stamina
    • Base Damage: 54
    • Damage w/ Effects/Perks: 87.6

Right Hand2: Dwarven Bow of Arching

    • Upgrade Condition: N/A
    • Enchantment: +10 Shock Damage, +5 Magicka Damage
    • Base Damage: 17
    • Damage w/ Effects/Perks: 43.55

      Left Hand: N/A

      Quiver: Dwarven Arrows

    • Damage: 14

      Current Companion: Lydia

    Stats:

    • Level: 15
    • Magicka: 100
    • Health: 100
    • Stamina: 250
    • Total Armor Rating: 120

     Handicaps:

    • No potions, only "food;" Cliff Racer, Velvet LeChance, & White-Gold Tower are exceptions due to them being alcohol from a role-playing view.
    • Master difficulty all the way through
    • Dead=Dead (before level 20 I will be using the penalty system proposed by Runered)
    • No fast travel
    • No crosshair
    • No skill trainers
    • Waiting is replaced by sleeping
    • Upon entering a town I will not leave until I spend at least 100 septims or sleep in the inn/owned bed (only at night)

Thanks for the support, Vix, I'll get Open Office ASAP for the PDF (Thanks for that suggestion Bilal and Charlie).
I'm going to try and get EVERY dungeon in here so SkyrimBlog can be used as a strategy guide along with being a social network.

Nice idea I like the strict role play your starting here should be interesting.

My most recent blog post was over 4000 words, I don't think you'll be going over any limits anytime soon!
