Cant find high hothgar someone please help me!

    ive been told to go to the grey beards. i walked out of whiterun and ive literally been seaching the mountain for about 2 hours trying to find the trail to the top can someone please help me?

    Clairvoyance is your friend! Also, be wary of Ice Trolls, Ice Wraiths (maybe I was too high level), those are nasty!

    Go to Ivarstead, steps start there, just follow the path

    buy clearvoiance and use it near the starting place... um the place in the beginning with the dragon.

    yeah, this one took me a while too, your going to want to do a couple things, get the spell "clearvoyance" or something, the one that shows you the path to your marker, then set your marker to the town at the bottom of the 7000 steps (just to the eastern ...  more

    go to journal & set quest as Active quest. follow your marker on the compass. you'll first want to travel to east side of mountain to the town below the 7000 steps.
