We all knew that Skyrim was going to be one of the most realistic video games of 2011. But Bethesda really took me by surprise. What I have been playing for the past day is unbelievable.
As I made my up up a mountain on a quest of recovery for the Jarl of Winterhold, I saw a pack of obviously hungry wolves chasing after a much smaller fox. My heart told me to intervene, so the wolves quickly became piles of burned flesh and fur.
I walked The Sleeping Giant Inn in Riverwood, and heard as a barsmaid complained to the innkeeper that the ale was going bad. "The ale is going bad you need to stock up on something fresher." the innkeeper replied "Yeah, yeah." "Did you hear what I just said?" The innkeeper replied, "Yes, the ale is going bad," much as a child would after being given directions by their mother.
As I walked into town, I was marveling the dual wielding system with a destruction spell. A child walked up to me and remarked "Wow! Are you a mage? Could you turn me invisible?" I told the child yes, lying. "Well when are you going to turn me invisible?" I told him that I already had. "Great! Now I can have some real fun around here." He ran off, undoubtedly about to get himself in a bit of trouble.
So what do you guys think about the realism in Skyrim? It honestly feels like living another life in another world...
