The Others

  • Sindathiel isn't my only character and my history with TES shows that I always have three or four characters that I alternate in between. Mages and Warriors are very boring whenever I play them but I love the Necromancer and Beserker subtypes. I've always liked the Assassin gameplay but not so much the thief or rogue. I've made a Altmer Necromancer, Amrithiwen, a Nord Beserker, Jormungandr (Named after the World Serpent of Norse Myth and the Jormungand Brood of the Zerg) and Prys-Alhaz, a Khajit Assassin / Rogue.
    _____

So far with the Altmer it's been difficult and as you can see I went ahead and gave myself the multiple zombie summon perk. I'm using the improved necromancy mod also and infinite duration for my zombies unless of course they die, which they do often. My idea of necromancy is still back in the glory days of Diablo 2 and Skyrim has let me down so far in this respect. No destruction except for Midas Life Siphon, no other summons except for the zombies and Midas Skeleton Archer, Lich and Warrior and no restoration except for basic healing. I don't have much use for illusion and I've only dabbled in alteration but not that much. In a nutshell that is pretty much what I see a Necromancer as being and it's still challenging even though I gave myself one or two high level perks. Background wise she is essentially the Skyrim version of Nagash and Alhazred. She becomes obsessed with power and the black arts. I unfortunately can't raise an army of the undead just yet but with some modding I should be able to.

The badass in the second photo is nothing but sheer viking badassery. No magic, no healing and no mana points. Nothing but health and stamina baby! I've tried to make a berserker with a big emphasis on stamina, speed and damage over health and armor. Granted I have enough of the latter two but my approach is simple. Kill everything I see. Helmets hide his badass mustache and mohawk which should give him the ability to auto-cast fear, have a armor rating of 300 and instantly kill anything that touches it regardless of level but I digress that would be "unfair". Beserker, stamina and health potions are what I tend to spam all the time.No background. Just sheer badassery and carnage.

Prys-Alhaz is the stereotypical assassin, rogue and thief all mixed together. I am at a lower level but I concentrate on stealth and hopefully avoiding confrontations unless I can get a sneak attack in. Backstory wise he arrived in Skyrim posing as a trader with a Khajit caravan. In Elsweyr he is wanted for numerous crimes including assassination of several high ranking Khajits, murder, kidnapping and theft. Cold, meticulous and efficient he is very effective.

    ___

I probably won't go into detail with any of these new characters with fluff. It's just so I can mix things up and play with different styles. I limit myself with what I can use to make things more interesting. The Altmer doesn't use armor or any weapons beyond a dagger and staff, no ranged weapons for the Beserker and daggers / scimitars for the Khajit. Weapons of the Third Age is awesome even though the console commands don't work for me so I can't give my characters the weapons from the beginning. I can purchase scimitars, tantos and wakizashi though from different traders so down the road I should pick up some new weapons.

I followed his instructions to the letter and I've tried all the different variations of the console commands and still no joy. The mod itself and the update work fine except I can't spawn any of the items through the console.
