Character Bio: Sindathiel

  • Sindathiel was born in Valenwood to the Thielen Clan, a small tribe located north of Silvenar, where he was first taught the ways of the Green Pact. After many years living a primitive existence the allure of civilization drew him to Cyrodill where he married into a prominent trader family. A lazy life of drink, food, money and women dulled his senses and dissolved his past with the people of the south. One night he awoke from a nightmare and came to the horrifying realization that he had become everything that he hated. The decision was made to cast off the chains of power and wealth and escape. He was hunted all across Tamriel before escaping his pursuers to the north through the mountains.Sindathiel survived off the harsh land and vowed to protect the same people whom he hated. Internally he struggled to follow the Green Pact and still attempts to follow his own variation. Now Sindatheil wanders through the forests, foreboding mountains and frozen tundras following the call of the ranger even as his past still hunts for him.

The Canne Family was in position to take over the second largest trading guild by using Sindathiel as a pawn but without him their plans of domination were impossible. Authorities in Cyrodill confiscated most of their assets and are still attempting to arrest those responsible for corruption, assassination and slavery. Gaspar, Ales and Jouane Canne are bent on avenging their failures that Sindathiel's sudden exit caused and see him as being solely responsible. Agents of the Canne Family are still active in Skyrim eternally searching for Sindathiel who seemingly evades them at every turn.

Some nights he yearns for the love he once thought he felt, the warmth of a cozy bed and a table full of warm food but continues along the lonely path. His skill with the bow has become more proficient than the elders of the Thielen Clan who taught him, eyes and ears keener and knowledge of the land deeper after years of hardship. He packs light, travels fast but still maintains some form of contact with the rest of the world by occasionally entering a city to sleep in a warm bed, restock on supplies and listen to rumors. Farmers and hunters alike only know him as Green Scar for the war paint on his face but very few if any know of his past.

I enjoyed reading it. Good back story. Plenty of strife and drive to motivate the character. Are planning on doing a journal or just a backstory?
