Can't find my companion...

    I think his name's Beanor, I bet him in a fist fight a while back and we've been dungeon diving ever since.  Trouble is, I left him outside a castle while I did a db quest.  And I came back later and can't find him.  I'm almost positive I'm looking in the right spot, and I've looked all over.  But I can't find him anywhere, and I can't take another companion up because they say I have one already; if only I could find him. 

    Any ideas?  I wish you could see them on your map.

    idk how to help sorry, but i just wanted to say this seems to happen alot to me too for all companions.

    If you're on PC, open the console with the tilde key 
    Type:  set playerfollowercount to 0
    Press enter, and you will be able to recruit a new companion

    Yeah returning to their place of origin is the best bet. He might even be travelling still if it was a long way from his home. They dont rush about like we do in the world lol When ive been following other companions on certain quests the npc seems to mov...  more

    If you told Benor to wait somewhere he'll return to Morthal after a few days. If you still can't find him (assuming you're on PC) you can open the console (~) and type 'prid 0001AA65' and then on the next line 'moveto player'.
